Willis @ 25/3/2013 20:54
Peter looked down at Talion tragically. Such a strange occurrence. The group had spent some time bonding but it was time to move on.

Kristoff was stood by the Eastern door. He shut his eyes and mumbled something.

"What are you saying?" Said Airlea suspiciously.

Kristoff sighed. "Just wishing for safety in what comes next. I am the first to move out after all."

He shook his head and pressed the door release. The room beyond opened and he stepped through. After a few moments the others followed suit.

They were stood in a standard sized room with two exits, one to the East and West. Kristoff looked around in awe. The walls of the room were very dark and sinister. Strange lights were covering every surface. Below their feet was something even more peculiar. It was a staircase leading down into darkness. The stairs were painted blood red.

"That doesn't look safe." Said Dern concernedly. There were some murmurs of agreement.

"It's only a stairca-" Kristoff began as suddenly there was a light from below. It shone up, bright and red. He turned around as it blasted into him. His face lit up in the eerie shade.

Suddenly a blast of energy erupted from the open doorway. Kristoff yelled out in agony as the force from below sucked him towards it. Ajax reached out to grab his hand and hold him steady but felt himself slipping.

"I can't hold on!" Ajax insisted. Kristoff turned his head to look at the red light below before finally being sucked towards it completely. He was swallowed by the red light at the bottom which immediately faded to blackness.

The group looked on speechless. There was a sudden mechanical whirring noise. The blood red staircase reared up quickly and rose. Slowly the stairs disappeared and all that remained was a flat, red, metal surface. It clicked shut with a thud.

Andreal and Dennis dashed over and began to run their hands across it, looking for a way to open it up. But there were none. It could only be opened by something within.

It is now Phase 5. Phase 5 will end in roughly 20 hours from now.

Wow...

Ajax @ 25/3/2013 20:56
The fuck?

Hobert @ 25/3/2013 20:56
It says he's still with us so that's a good sign!!

Carl @ 25/3/2013 20:57
...what is it with Kristoff?!

Sophia @ 25/3/2013 20:57
##Take Staff

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 20:57
So only Kristoff can get himself out?

Maria @ 25/3/2013 20:57
Ajax, are you okay?

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 20:57
Did we pass the staff back to Kristoff?

Sophia @ 25/3/2013 20:57
Oh he's probably still alive.

Maria @ 25/3/2013 20:58
Maria @ 25/3/2013 20:57
Ajax, are you okay?

Kristoff* Misread the flavor.

Ajax @ 25/3/2013 20:58
That wasn't a time warp my guess... Those are sparkly (purple sparkly i guess). Wonder if this is a teleporter for this own labyrinth...

Peter Mallick @ 25/3/2013 20:58
Whoaaa. Kristoff can you hear us?

Maria @ 25/3/2013 20:58
Dennis @ 25/3/2013 20:57
Did we pass the staff back to Kristoff?

Yes. Britanny gave it back.

Tyrese @ 25/3/2013 20:58
Carl @ 25/3/2013 19:57
...what is it with Kristoff?!

Cut him some slack, he was the first one to walk through the door. It's not like he had anything to do with it - atleast where I'm concerned.

Airlea @ 25/3/2013 20:59
Sounds like a redroom sort of thing.

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 20:59
So if we can't get him out, I guess we should wait for him to come on and make an action.

Otherwise, we decide what to do next.

Dern @ 25/3/2013 20:59
This is not good.

Perhaps he can find a way to escape himself?

One can only hope.

Maria @ 25/3/2013 21:00
Maybe he can use the staff to get out.

Carl @ 25/3/2013 21:00
Just saying he's running into trouble a lot

Hobert @ 25/3/2013 21:01
I agree Airlea!!

Dern @ 25/3/2013 21:01
strange how this room has a parallel.

you think the other group came this way?

Hobert @ 25/3/2013 21:01
Carl @ 25/3/2013 19:00
Just saying he's running into trouble a lot

The risk of going first into a room.

Peter Mallick @ 25/3/2013 21:02
What is a redroom?

Otherwise, looks like there's nothing we CAN do.

Taylor @ 25/3/2013 21:02
.. what is a redroom ..

I don't think so.

Yes. I'm assuming they stuck to the plan?

Katy @ 25/3/2013 21:02
* Yells *

Kristoff, can you hear me!

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 21:02
Maria, what do you want to do "travel"-wise?

Ajax @ 25/3/2013 21:02
Ok, unless Kristoff shows some signs of life now, i doubt that the list is correct.

But to the point now... We should keep heading East for now. Unless somebody plans on returning to the previous room.

##Exit: East

Also, could somebody take care of the map?

Oops.

Maybe the N meant they were going north? Idk

Sophia @ 25/3/2013 21:03
Seemed like they were heading north

I think based on the 4 N message last phase, they went North.

I also think the 4 stood for Phase 4.

Nice, I never thought of the 4 representing Phase 4, I think you could be right.

I wonder what happened.

Ajax @ 25/3/2013 21:06
The redroom might be a good possibility, hopefully we haven't lost sight of Kristoff.

Taylor @ 25/3/2013 21:06

*shrugs* I don't know yet. I think we should try to get Kristoff back first.

Dern @ 25/3/2013 21:06
I say we wait for Kristoff until there is either no hint of him or he returns.

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 21:06
Should we try to stay here for a round to see if he can do anything?

If he's in a redroom he wouldn't be able to respond. He's in a separate room within our room. He's not dead.

Peter Mallick @ 25/3/2013 21:07
Taylor @ 25/3/2013 21:02

I believe Taylor and I are still wondering what a redroom is? lol

No, but I think I've heard of it.

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 21:09
This is certainly a stretch, but the kid writes "redrum" in blood all over the walls and floor and shit, which is "murder" backward.

Ajax @ 25/3/2013 21:09
[The red room is where someone is summoned by Willis himself (not sure if all the time by him?). It is in that place where he proposes challenges to the participant invited or messes with his head just to make things more complicated for us]

Dern @ 25/3/2013 21:10
Best guess is it is a room that is red.

Which it did look reddish.

Willis loves to play games with us, this is what a red room is like. It is at times like this, we be extra careful.

Redroom does look a bit similar to redrum. Moorder? Mordor?

It must be moordor.

Peter Mallick @ 25/3/2013 21:12
Oh. Thanks Ajax. O_O I hope that's not a redroom, it'll only spell trouble.

Seriously though... what can even be done about Kristoff's predicament? It even said there is no way to open it. I guess we just have to wait, or plan what to do next. I'm definitely not in favor of sticking around, though. We'd just be wasting time... Though, we do need his Staff. Sophia tried to take it at the beginning of the phase, Sophia did it work?

Nope he still has it I guess.

Carl @ 25/3/2013 21:15
Kristoff can't use the staff to free himself, the staff is still broken. But I'm sure we could get him out of there. Maybe Willis gives us a task and as a reward we get Kristoff back in one piece.

But for now I have to rest. L8er

This in essence. If it's the red room, hopefully Kristoff will be intelligent enough to defend himself.

Do you read? It says it can only be opened from the inside.

Peter Mallick @ 25/3/2013 21:19
His Staff starts working next round I believe? That means he could use it then for himself to get himself out of there, and we'd be left behind anyway.

However, I do think he will be able to get out of the "redroom" on his own, since it said it could be opened by something within. I just hope it's in this phase. And if it's not, then I hope he doesn't get lazy and time travel his way out, abandoning us. Who knows what Willis will brainwash him with, if it is indeed a redroom.

I'd assume he wouldn't be able to teleport us he was in the main part of the room but who knows.

(In past red rooms they were all only able to be opened from the inside and the person/people trapped would always come out on their own once Willis was finished.)

He's in a whole other room. He can't view this thread.

Maybe we should discuss our wariness of him in here then, since he went to a redroom.

(generally the thread locks and disappears and a new one appears when he is added)

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 21:43
I think everything's been said, but it hasn't really been discussed. For instance, if he's a bad guy- how can we make sure we protect ourselves against him? What is our plan to obtain the staff permanently?

How do we get him to stop being so "vague" and explain why not all of his shit adds up?

I'm not saying he's bad, but I think that if we're going to utilize the most out of this day- it should be how to protect ourselves from him.

Even if he didn't have his staff I'd still want to wait. Numbers are beneficial here and to just leavr one behind not even knowing how his role could help us would be stupid imo. We would basically waste him leaving him for dead.

Not to mention I find him to personally be trustworthy and important and if all you weny forward I would stay and wait for him.

Oh ok, so we're sure he wouldn't be added until the next phase? I'm just saying, because he's on the player list for this room is all.

I think everything's been said for Kristoff as of now.

I'm not saying he's bad, but I think that if we're going to utilize the most out of this day- it should be how to protect ourselves from him.

I agree, there is no reason he needs to be so vague. I wish he would just tell us everything he knows so we would all be able to brainstorm how to get out of this situation. Unfortunately, he seems to want the power mostly to himself or something? I don't get it. I don't think he's on Willis' side, but I do think he could be a bit more open and honest with us... perhaps he has a different goal at hand

Even if you don't like him his item is invaluable to our mission.

Well said Sir Hobert.

Certainly not in regards to his honesty and integrity.

Thank you.

I don't understand why people are saying "let's not discuss it". Why not discuss it?

I think if he's going to be our savior in this game, we should be completely aware of what he's doing. I also don't understand why we need him to be honest if we can travel in time by ourselves?

Ultimately, what gets me is that we need to have an active plan on what to do if he does turn. Ignoring it seems silly, as I'm sure people will talk about whether the room is a "red room" or not for the next 15 pages.

I took that as a knee jerk reaction.

Not the best way to handle the situation and he did come off as rude but he is only human.

Weakness does not make a man evil.

I definitely agree with this point, however he chose to reveal his staff. The rest of us are keeping our cards close. When he revealed his staff, he made himself prime target #1- and he continues to be prime target #1 because of his staff. If he has more information to reveal, it's probably not going to make his position change.

I haven't revealed my "role" because it's silly to trust people so early, but he made that decision himself. I think it's completely viable for us to ask questions.

Dennis @ 25/3/2013 22:09
And I guess that we shouldn't be planning to "protect ourselves" from him anymore than we should from anyone else.

Dennis, what I've said is all I have to work with. I would assume it implies the others in the past, as they may potentially have a choice to make whether it's between exits, or whatever.

Ajax, I am merely speculating, because of his staff.

I think we owe Kristoff that much to wait around and stay this round, because regardless of what happens, whether he comes back (or not), we would have to move on because we can't stay in the same room for 2 phases in a row (last I had read somewhere).

it's the same voice I've been hearing since before I came on this journey, my fiance's. Her voice brought me to the labyrinth (by leading me to Gabriel), they didn't appear in the early phases but since the last phase they have started up again. I can't communicate back with them, they are voices I hear when I try to sleep.

*** END OF REDROOM ***

Willis @ 25/3/2013 23:02
There was a clicking noise as the stairway once more descended. With an almighty thud, it hit the bottom. Taylor peered over nervously. There was a figure at the bottom. He sat upright with a groan and glanced behind him. All that remained was a solid wall. He carefully crept to his feet and slowly sauntered up the stairs.

As he reached the top, Arimnestos and Lincoln reached out to grab him and steady him. Kristoff looked up at the staring group members as he was slowly helped to the floor.

It is now Phase 5. Phase 5 will end in roughly 21 hours from now.

Tyrese @ 25/3/2013 23:06
and Dennis, to respond to your old question (since I couldn't reply in there)

Basically, after her death I have had recurring nightmares where I watch her die repeatedly, but they would always end with her voice comforting me. I became obsessed with the fortress above the ground, and through one of my dream/nightmare I was led to Gabriel, from whom I learnt about the mission to raid it (I know it's not detailed, but I played in the underground version of the NBA and Gabriel was in attendance of one of my games, once my sleeping problems affected my performance, I was forced to retire, and that is when I sought out Gabriel) - and I came along to avenge her death. So to answer your question, yes. I hope that clears any questions you may have.

I don't think anyone stole it.

If you're suggesting this is part of Willis plan... Then I'm thinking that could happen too.

(this actually explains a certain comment in the description, I thought it was an death threat but this makes sense)

What happened while you were down there, Kristoff?

Just tell us what actually happened, if you're able.

Also, how will the person with the staff disappear? Do you mean they'll travel somewhere or they'll die...? What?

Yes I was thinking maybe Kristoff's perception of his staff may have been affected.

Is Sophia the theif?

After you vanished Sophia made an action to take your staff but it seemed more of a joke action.

I don't think we had any indication that the staff was available for taking either.

Sophia @ 26/3/2013 0:06
I do not have your staff, I promise. I have been on of your biggest defenders here as well.

Sophia @ 26/3/2013 0:06
This seems like a trick of Willis.

Kristoff Pieterson @ 26/3/2013 0:06
It is possible but wouldn't make much sense if Willis stole the staff as game over (lol). But I guess it is possible. Airlea though... I find it odd she joined us and she seemed REALLY interested in the staff.

Perhaps Sophia can clear this up.

You have been and I appreciate that.

Maria @ 26/3/2013 0:08
Kristoff, can you tell us what happened down the staircase?

Dern @ 26/3/2013 0:08
Maybe the staff randomly was shifted to one of us.

Everyone check your inventory just in case.

Lincoln @ 26/3/2013 0:09
I don't have it, I must have slept thru Sophia's try for it.

Just checked mine and it's empty.

Taylor @ 26/3/2013 0:10
.. same here, my inventory is completely empty ...

Dennis @ 26/3/2013 0:10
I feel like I remember someone searching for it but I don't remember who.

Sophia @ 26/3/2013 0:10
I checked again and I do not have it.

Kristoff Pieterson @ 26/3/2013 0:10
What I have learnt is very good news! And won't require time travel. However if there is a thief among us, its perhaps something we should be quiet on.

Dern @ 26/3/2013 0:10
Mine is empty as well obviously.

Sophia @ 26/3/2013 0:10
It was me, Dennis

Andrael @ 26/3/2013 0:10
It is possible someone stole it when Sophia joke claimed it in an attempt to frame her. Or this is a trick and sorcery of Willis up in that room.

Ajax @ 26/3/2013 0:11
Don't have it either...
