Tyrese left the strange flowing water and the mists behind him. It was time to move onwards to new things. He pushed the Eastern door and stepped through.

The room beyond was twice the length of a standard room with an exit to the North. He was stood at the Southern side of it. He felt a sense of deja vu as he looked around him. It was wide and cavernous, with a roof like it was carved out of the mouth of a cave. In the middle of the floor sat a marble platform, raised above the marble floor under his feet. He walked over to it.

Each corner had a tall stone pillar that supported a torch, burning endlessly. The raised platform was divided into many squares of equal size. He almost knew what to expect, but he turned to look anyway. He was being watched by....something. A tall figure was sat on an ornate throne, staring. Staring may have been the wrong term, as the figure had no eyes. Where eyes should have been, in the face of the flowing red cloak, was merely darkness.

It rested its arms on the sides of the stone throne and didn't flinch or acknowledge Tyrese's presence at all. It was more than unsettling. In one hand it carried an ornate sceptre. On its head it wore a crown with horns either side. And it watched and waited.

For a long time Tyrese didn't feel comfortable moving, but eventually he decided it would be for the best. Whatever this thing was, it wasn't hostile for the moment.

It is now Phase 60. Phase 60 will end in roughly 24 hours from now.
