The group moved towards the West. Ninefingers shuddered in fear of the beast being beyond. He glanced down at the flower one last time. It meant something, he was sure it did, but he'd be racking his brain trying to think of it for the rest of time.

The room beyond was a red room. Ninefingers nodded at that memory too. He sat down on the bottom of the red stairs and pondered. This was proving to be a long journey. To the east, the shuttle was docked on a platform. The door had a purple ring around it.

The other nine paced backwards and forwards. It was going to be a long trip. Jeffrey sighed of boredome. Ninefingers looked up. Perhaps they could exchange travelling stories some more. Everybody was being notably silent. The recent events had taken their toll on group morale.

You each have about 22 hours to move through an available exit.

So Korr's interaction with the flower was for naught? If only it had been a Rose of Hope and not a Flower of Hope, I would have taken it as a super sign that maybe resurrecting Rose means we're on the right path. Then again why would the Ojo do something nice like that. It most certainly will come back into the picture one way or another. Even if it's just big enough to hug the next time we see it. We must hug it if so.

And are you sure Korr's thing has nothing to do with the maze itself? One of our lab notes said "one of them transforms. Interesting. Would v. much like to see that." I originally thought it meant one of the potions we found, but Alex thought it was a prisoner and settled on John once we met Eduardo and he told us John had werewolf arms. Then he turned out to be a deadly liar. Then it came back around to probably meaning the potion when Frosti went crazy from the Red one...

but Korru's doing a lot of fuckin' transforming room to room. Also I guess this officially makes Charon the Inferno Chamber subject after finally seeing him.

"One of them transforms. Curious. Would v. much like to witness after-effects of that." Kiwi clenched his fists nervously. Ninefingers shook his head. "We be just rats in a maze." AlexORG flipped down to another page. "Won't make it beyond Charon in my eyes..." the rest was crossed through. He flipped over once more. "Effects of Inferno monitor day 57. Subject is now feral. Wants little more than to kill and maim..." "Went down to Chamber D this morn. Watched souls bask in cavelight. One tried to consume body but hard to possess the dead..." None of the other notes were readable. Alex flipped back to the terrified expressions behind him. "As always, we just have to keep moving."

Since you all have the fancy map, does Chamber D mean anything to anyone? Also the after-effects thing strongly implies it was one of the potions just as I thought it did when we first read it, but Korr's transforming gig was just too curious to ask about again.

Alex since he didn't murder you, was he made out to be a transformed monster? Now that I re-read my resurrection I don't think that was the case. The Eye said his body was very very red once more, but I was taking it too literally when he'd just had his head blown off by a shotgun. Also that the chalk writings were distinctly different handwriting. I know Frosti wrote the RIP list knowing he would be killed after killing Natalie and I, especially since Natalie had the chalk, but the other one continues to confound me. Since I wasted my time trying to translate that one latin phrase that turned out to be a TV quote, is this one also perhaps a TV quote I didn't be knowing about?

When I was resurrected there was a mini-mystery about who had the chalk. After Frosti was killed it disappeared into someone other than my hands and that phrase was written by whomever stealthily picked it up. I highly doubt whomever picked it up would know a latin phrase with the perfect number of letters to waste the rest of the well-used chalk.

We didn't find the chalk on Donovan, Walter, or G's bodies.

(I meant to present those as two different things, not kind of mash them together as I did.)

Also I scoped even though it's highly unlikely anyone is on either side of our immediate position. Went with West since it covers two rooms vs the one we just came from.

the shuttle leads to the far western wall, 3 rooms away from whwere DRRRR lies. 8419 to be exact, which is the HOT POTATO room.

I believe the notes were referring to EDUARDO actually. I think Korr is just having some fun :P

also Chamber D is the southeast corner of COS since #COSD is the code you type into the computer to see the SE platform. So that's right over where we saw the STAIRS

Do you know who owns the lab? I mean more specifically than Dr. Patterson (Pattinson?) Do you think it's a player such as liar Wikey suggested of Bagshot or do you think it might be an NPC we could run into in Chamber D / SE corner of the CoS? Since you all didn't know about the stairs down there I take it that corner be un-tread ground.
