Ninefingers pressed the door release and moved onwards. These were grave times and paranoia was rife. They were heading into very hot...unknown territory. He walked into the Western room.

There was a swooshing noise as he entered. He glanced around curiously. The room had a very strange design. He was joined by the other four who tailed in behind.

There was an exit to the North and one both East and West. Overhead a shuttle tunnel ran above their heads from the East, moving West. To the South...was the strange part.

All of the exits were set into the Northernmost part of the room. There was a Southern exit to the far South, padlocked and chained. In front of it there were two sets of alcoves. And repeatedly, in a very strict pattern, something arced on a pole in either.

They were deadly looking, red bladed, double-headed scythes. They arced over and over, swinging and slicing the air menacingly. A skeleton lay far into one of the alcoves. That was encouraging. Ninefingers paused for thought.

They might just be able to dash through into the centre of the two scythes. There was one very close, a sizeable gap, and one towards the far South. If they timed it right...maybe they could make the gap and then similarly make the second run before the scythes stopped swinging.

Alex looked over at the other four.

"Be we wanting to try our luck and dash?" He asked curiously. There was some uncertainty.

To get beyond the scythes to the Southern exit, you must time your movements right. There are two scythes. To move beyond them you must post ##Scythe: South or ##Scythe: North depending on the direction you wish to move.

However these actions can only be posted within the first five minutes of the hour. For example, submitting your movement at 14:06 will not get you past the scythe, but submitting it between 14:00 and 14:05 will. The time on the post will be the time that is counted. Switch your clock settings to GMT for the most accurate measure of the timing system that will be used.

In the case of inactive followers, if you login to view the thread you must submit a movement or else you will get left behind. It can be identified who has viewed the thread or who hasn't. No player will be able to move through the Southern exit if they view the thread and don't pass beyond BOTH scythes. Follows still apply after passing both scythes.

You do not need to move beyond the scythes to exit in any other direction.

You each have about 19 hours to move through an available exit.

Holy shit. No. We're heading south. We've just all got to be pretty damn careful about doing it. The Chamber should be to the West, South is where Alex wants to go. North from us is where Frosti lost his first life.

And G it's your turn to go first through the door to the south...if we can get to it.

Oh I thought there were two to the south. Does that mean entering here from either the North or South would be a death trap? So we were leading Bagshot to death ourselves.

The only reason to go West would be to exchange Donovan in the Chamber of Souls for someone more useful. Which I would love to do, but Alex wants badly to meet up with the other group. Which is what Bagshot wanted us to do. After what he pulled with Wikey, how do we know ANYTHING he said was good information? Two more moves West and we can lynch the mute and bring back someone that actually pulled their weight. Before returning to do... this.

I really want to go West and bolster our numbers. The only use we are going to get out of Donovan is sacrificing him in the Chamber, otherwise the dumb bastard is likely is like to be left behind in this room. I wish Alex was around to comment. I want to go West and do this while we still can.

(Is this the only time of day you can log in G? I only can find you in the ungodly AM of EST. If you could check back in 10-12 hours it would be very helpful. Once everyone else has discussed this.)

(You should have exited too. I think we're both counted as being beyond the southern Scythe right now, while Alex and everyone are still having to play this game. Wish the Eye was around to confirm.)

(Fuck, there are. I probably killed myself. I thought there were two originally, but I thought the two consisted of the one to the North and the one to the South, not two to the South.)
