Jeffrey hurled a shoe into the Northern room. Bryce watched it intently as it arced through the air and landed with a thud. He shook his head.

"Would you like a shoe Hupu?" He asked curiously.

Hupu grinned.

"SUH MY FEET ALL BURNT AND SHIT!"

Byrce nodded. Willis had put some kind of heat-proof wrap around their feet in the ante-room but it wasn't that good. It gave terrible blisters and it was still hot to walk over the metal floors. It wasn't too much to ask to have shoes was it?

Jeffrey gulped nervously and pressed the door release. He stepped into what looked like a school exam hall.

"Oh men." He said wearily.

The shoe was laying at the bottom of a chair. Overhead a shuttle tunnel ran from South to North. Jeffrey turned around as the group followed in.

Paco was pretty cheery...and Merc...and Bryce and Hupu. The others though...they didn't look so good all things considered.

Klaus' outfit was all torn as reddened bandages flashed over his skin. He walked a little crookedly. Malarkey hobbled along with his cane frowning. Helios...well he wouldn't be playing the banjo much anymore. Korr was battered and bruised up and down and Randolph looked like he'd seen the devil himself.

Even Baby Pete, lurking silently at the back was sporting a nice set of bandages. This group had been through the wars. They'd been very lucky. Jeffrey stopped to think about his own former group for a moment before shaking his head.

In front of the chairs were tables with electronic panels on them. Something was wired into the tables from the floor. A giant screen overlooked the room. The group stood and stared at the screen absent-mindedly as it flashed into life. The eye stared out.

"Why don't you all take a seat? You've been through so much after all. It's an awful lot to take in down here. You must've seen many weird and wonderful things."

"I would hope that would be the case because I prepared a little test for you all should you come across this place. Anybody interested, just take a seat and when it's finally decided who is going to take part I'll send you a set of questions in private."

"This is real examination conditions, so no communicating throughout the test."

As the group looked on there was a whirr. Overhead a turret descended and scoured the room carefully.

"Need I remind you that there are consequences for disobedience should anybody try it."

"The questions are all related to the labyrinth. I'm generalising a little, so maybe a couple of things you may not have encountered. You've all seen different parts so it's hard to include everybody. Some are easy, some are very difficult and specific."

"But it doesn't matter. One person will do better than the rest. That person will also take away a fabulous prize. You all look a little scared...to be walking into these new rooms. You hurl shoes knowing in your hearts it might not work. Well I have some extra protection here which could really come in handy. It's a one time thing, the only item of its kind in the entire labyrinth."

"So there's your incentive. If multiple people score the same high result I will give it out at random."

The group looked at one another. Didn't sound so bad. What was the catch though?

"I should probably also point out that scoring low won't go in your favours. Quite frankly, whoever scores lowest hasn't been paying attention and so isn't much other than a burden on your fair group. I'll gladly take that burden off your hands when the quiz is over."

Eyes were drawn to the wiring that was fed into the chairs. Seemed about right...

"Please specify who will partake. At least two of you need to or I won't proceed with the quiz. The more people who do it, the less likely you are to score low since I'm sure that some of you haven't paid as much attention as you should."

The screen turned black as the group discussed the plan of action.

You can opt to play labyrinth quiz. At least two people must partake for the quiz to go ahead. Post ##Take: Quiz to opt in. When all the participants are ready, post ##Start: Quiz to begin the challenge. Once the majority has voted to start the quiz (6 people in this case) the challenge will begin.

You each have about 21 hours to move through an available exit.

All depends if we want to spend a revive / medkit on something that might protect us.

Sooo?

ya Im not sure if it's worth it? We'd probably end up using the medikit on whoever scored the least and the trade off would be getting an extra life... it's basically the same thing

and it doesn't mention winning anything other than the extra life

Well it says the item is a one of a kind so we wont be winning a medkit or bulletproof armor. I dont even have an idea what it could be

Might be worth a shot, Helios probably has the best idea where we stand on extra lives.

I dont think he actually died, the bomb just limited his role. He cant revive himself anymore, but didnt mentioned reviving someone else.

Anyways as I see it

Worst case: We trade a medkit or a revive for something that gives us 1 extra life. We end up gaining nothing.

Best case: We trade a medkit or a revive for something that can take multiple hits. Thus gaining lives.

Am I wrong? I think we should do this (except Helios shouldnt play obviously)

loool wut? Why would a bomb do something silly like that? Preeetty sure it blew up on him and "killed" him and he had to use his last revive tokens on himself

But I guess Helios can clarify

No matter what, I know 100% that I have at least one more use available to me. I should have more, but hostie was being kinda cryptic when describing about how I can't use it on me anymore...

no, he didn't revive himself if I recall.

I'm tempted to try it. But I dunno. Maybe some of the role-less people could take a crack at it?

Also, no east... meaning the key is quite possibly not in the 3x3 corner. :\

Naw, it didn't kill me. I'm honestly not sure how or why, but I didn't die. Nor did I even get injured (so I still have my Doctor life, not like that matters now).
But I guess Helios can clarify
