Kiwi walked towards the Eastern door but not before glaring at the King. He reached for his machete before realising he didn't have it. It was a comfort all these days. He shook his head and pressed the release. First time moving forwards...this wouldn't be so bad.

Stepping into the new room he glanced at his surroundings. Overhead, a shuttle tunnel moved from North to South. He shrugged. Not as important as clearing the way he guessed. He glanced around.

It was fine.

He laughed. He wanted a bit of carnage but this was fine. Too bad there would be no blood and gore. He liked blood and gore. He sighed. He was sweating a bit though. It made him nervous being here alone. But it was empty. Plain walls, metal floor. Boring room. What a stupid room.

He laughed out loud. How stupid. As he laughed a bead of sweat rolled down his forehead and splashed onto the floor where it evaporated from the heat. A light blinked up above. Kiwi stopped laughing crazily and glanced at it. The light was a message on a strange white device.

It said "Moisture detected."

Kiwi glanced at it. Moisture? Him? He looked around at the wall. There was a switch there. He rushed over and went to pull it as a creaking noise drew his attention. He stopped and approached the centre of the room casually.

Overhead, a glass box was creaking. There was something grey in there. With a giant staring eye. Disgusting...it was...

The box flew open.

Kiwi dashed towards the wall as the grey goo rained down on the floor. A million tiny nanobots scuttled across the clinical floor. Kiwi looked back at the door and wondered about escaping. Then he reached for his machete...oh right.

He ran to the other side of the room in a panic as the scuttling increased. They flashed an occasional red colour. He stood with his back against the door as the robots surrounded him and crawled up his legs. He screamed and batted at them with his hands. He batted some more. He wished he could use one of the other idiots as a sacrifice for all this. Why always him?

He screamed as one of them reached his abdomen. Then all at once they began to climb up. They crawled underneath his clothes and sunk in. He began to scream in terror. Finally the door open and the room walked in. A look of horror crept across their faces.

Blood rained in all directions. His insides were...very visible as the robots tore away at his flesh in an orderly fashion. Natalie turned. It was too gruesome to watch. The zombie-like figure of Kiwi lurched forwards to the group before falling over on the floor with a harrowing scream. Finally the robots scuttled away up the walls and bored their way into the ceiling.

Ninefingers casually walked over to the...remains. They'd completely cleaned him out save for his skeleton which was all that remained of him. His clothes and his vest were still completely intact. They'd just taken all of his...biological spongy matter and worked their way clean through it.

Natalie sobbed on the floor uncontrollably as the rest of the group fell silent at the grim scene.

And then...there were eight.

You each have about 24 hours to move through an available exit.

I am actually very sad to see him go. He was a punk, but I loved that guy. This is a sad day indeed. Someone take his armor that's exiting first next.....

That death was horrificly gruesome. I felt so bad reading it. I wanted his machete gone and he didn't have it. He couldn't even fight back.

Probably not.

This was a deadly trap. I don't think a machete would defend him against all those little nanobots.

I definitely feel guilty since I was the person who really wanted to go East initially. ugh


hopefully this deadly and gruesome trap means we are going in the right direction.

The NW quadrant where the key should be is 6x6 (36 potential rooms). We seem to not have a way of accessing the top corner (2x2 in the upper most NW). Also since there isnt a room in every square necessarily, It's safe to say that out search area has been narrowed to a 4x6 area. We should move south from this room and move south or west every time. If both of these options are present, we should discuss.

Looking back to day one, it's crazy to think that us eight players ended up here together. Had one of us picked a different leader, this entire game would be completely different. I think that trying to play this game without a group makes it near impossible. As Kiwi has just reminded us, there are some traps, that not even armor can protect oneself from. We've played this game great thus far.

And we're so near the key. A trap of this sophistication wouldn't be thrown elsewhere in the maze. We are close!
