MLWW's eyes snapped open. He was greeted by more eyes which glared back down at him. His head hurt really bad.

"Hello MLWW. Having fun being the human shoe are you?"

MLWW hissed at the booming voice. In front of him were a series of large screens each containing an eye. In the centre was one extremely large eye which glared back at him as it spoke. The room was very cramped. Quickly fumbling for a latch or an exit, MLWW found out there was literally no room to move in here.

"What do you want butcher?" Said MLWW angrily.

The eye paused and then spoke out again.

"You've done very well so far. You've stumbled about going first and never found your way into any danger. This won't last much longer, I'm almost certain of that."

"Perhaps it would be wise if you stopped moving first and let somebody else take over. Kiwi never offers to do it. Neither do James or Donovan. So sad that it must always be you."

MLWW snarled. He wasn't buying cheap tricks.

"Sadly today, I have nothing to give you. You don't get a weapon like your former king. Why did he say he got a weapon anyway? His paranoid lies amuse me greatly. As I'm sure they amuse all of you."

"Let me ask you something, MLWW. Put that damned hat on your head and just try to read my mind. I dare you."

"Oh don't look at me like that. If you don't do it you can never leave this room. I suggest you comply."

MLWW angrily slid out the hat that had saved him all these years and put it on, focusing intently.

"Huh? Nothing...how? You have a hat too?"

The eye stared intently for a few seconds.

"MLWW, I am beyond the need for hats. No self-respecting doer of great apparent injustice would dare to make their thoughts publically known. Once a villain knows you can see into their very heads, all you get left with are traces of meaningless drivel that you already know. And whatever else inanities run through their thick skulls."

MLWW snarled. He didn't like the eyeball very much and he didn't like being told what to do.

"Just get it over with you bastard!" He screamed.

"MLWW, there is nothing to get over. We are done here. I told you, no challenges or tasks, no dangerous threats. All I ask is to be more mindful than the rest of the idiots. And maybe stick up for yourself and stop being the group shoe for a change. It'd be nice to see another lead. I see your friend Eduardo is keen to charge forth. Maybe they all should follow in his footsteps."

MLWW snarled.

"I will return you back to the ground below very soon. Please be patient while all of this sinks in. Let me know when it has and we can get on with whatever nonsense is below."

He glared the eye down, trying to make it blink. The eye never blinked. MLWW did.
