Wikey walked through the West door boldly. Now that the mutt was gone he felt safer. He smiled at the change of scenery until the world turned black. It was too black in here. He couldn't see a thing at all. He frowned as the room shone a little with a strange distant light.

In front of him two figures loomed. One was bright red, the other bright blue. They both held a horrible axe that looked fairly deadly. He could not see a face on either figure. Just hoods and gloved hands holding an axe. Wikey stared at them in horror as a voice boomed out.

"SPEAK NOW MORTAL."

Wikey looked nervously around. There was a tunnel overhead that went from East to West. The figures stared on as a bright red light filled the room. Something didn't smell right, literally. Wikey couldn't comprehend what it was.

The eye appeared and spoke out making Wikey jump back in fear.

"Don't let these two scare you. They are guards but they're merely around for...informational purposes. Legend has it that one once guarded the door to heaven and the other to hell. As with all legends the facts are slightly skewed but they are here nonetheless."

"The interesting thing about these two is the quirk that made the riddle so compelling. Indeed, one always lies and the other always tells the truth. Which is which? That's the question you should be asking."

"The other interesting thing is they are not much for talking. Other than SPEAK NOW MORTALS the only thing I have ever heard the two of these mutter is YES and NO. They don't go in for cryptic answers and saying anything that doesn't have a clear result will throw them into a spin. I've never seen them lift those big axes but I wouldn't frankly like to try and baffle them with difficult questions."

"Go ahead, ask. It's a wealth of information. But they will only ever speak to a soul and answer his questioning once. So don't waste your precious time here."

The eye disappeared and the figures glowed again.

"SPEAK NOW MORTAL."

The words entered Wikey's head, but not through his ears. He scratched his head as the blood caught his eye. Jumping up again he followed the trail of dry blood over to the heap in the corner. Reaching down he flipped it over. The face of drr stared back, stone cold dead. Her stomach was stabbed through. Wikey shook his head and looked up at the chalk writing just behind her body.

"RIP Zombie Rose"

Wikey was more than a little disturbed as he looked at the two figures with giant axes that loomed over him.
