Now Alex, would you please share with me what about your power made you trust Ed in the first place? My trust was completely blind (based on the way he was talking honestly, and I know how stupid that sounds now) and I did want to appear friendly to him since everyone else was going for his throat, just in case he had information, but you had a reason. Can you share this reason without revealing your power?
Could you be naive in addition to your role?
I'm not trying to start a witch hunt here, just Kiwi was talking about this and I don't think I ever saw your reply. |
Well initially I was in the same exact boat as you. I wanted to seem friendly and level headed in order to get information out of him. Almost like good cop/bad cap after the way Kiwi and Leos approached the situation. And I WANTED to believe him quite frankly
But then after my role use, it confirmed part of his story, which is still confirmed as true. It didn't tell me that he was 100% good, but it confirmed that a segment of his story added up with what he was saying.
Do you understand or do you want be to elaborate further? I don't want any of you to think that I'm intentionally withholding information to hurt the group. I'm really only trying to help, and the best way for me to do so is to not give out too many details so that people can circumnavigate my role. I hope that's understandable

He claimed he received one unstoppable kill. And that we now had to protect him and he shouldn't have to exit first anymore. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Sounds like a pure lie when you put it this way. He was always finding ways out of having to go first

Can you tell us the part of his story that was true? Or would that give it away? Did you speak up at the time? Say something like "I have reason to believe that" to something he had said? Maybe what I remembered as Kiwi saying something was actually you saying something. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Just to not be putting words in a dead man's mouth I believe he said we "should" protect him now, not that we "had" to. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

His 'past' was true. Part of what he claimed had happened before meeting us did indeed happen. That didn't mean he was good, but it meant that he wasn't lying about it, which helped
I asked him questions all day to get him to tell me part of his story so that I could go to work on him. The second I got my results, I spoke up and said that I bought part of his story. I was trying to be subtle, but then Kiwi got angry and kept trying to force me to speak, so I told Kiwi that if he looks at my past posts during that phase, he'll see that my results helped confirm part of Eduardo's story

*Mid conversation with Alex, Ninefingers sprang to his feet with a focused determination. He marched towards the West exit before stopping, shaking his head and turning on heel to head South. He placed both hands on the door and stood still sniffing for a moment before drumming his palms on the door*
Not that it be nearly useful as a living person that be adding to discussion and walking through doors for us, there be an item to our South. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

I think I get it. Just not how focused it be but we'll drop it for now to keep you from having to say anymore. Just one more thing - are you able to, and have you been, doing this every phase? Or is it like this "hacker" Kiwi be telling me about that can only send a message to both teams every three phases. Even though we've only received two so far. We be due for one next phase if we believe the message. | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Not to put a damper on the new item party (probably a boot finally) we have to decide what we're going to do if we come across another dangerous game. Russian Roulette, the other team's battle to the death, hot potato - are we going to be passing up the possibility of a godly item and just focus on finding the exit key? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

Think of it like Iron's role. When Iron comes across a door, he can use it. It's not an every phase thing, and it's not a set number of phases either

I don't know how to talk to you about your power with revealing it if it hasn't been already by you explaining it to me. Raking? | In this world the weak are always the victims of the strong. |

The item would have to be realllly good for me to want to possibly lose another one of us, and we probably won't even be told what it is. I think it's too risky
