notice how long it took the first time when she was "confirming that i'd be safe"? i may be gullible, i may be a sucker, i may be naive... but i'm not quite that easy of a mark. i was happy to help her with getting the actual item inside the chest and making a deal and crossing for my fingers and just hoping against hope that she'd prove me wrong... but if i gave her the key itself, just handed it over, it would make it far too easy for them all to get a really good laugh BEFORE voting me out.

they'll still be laughing, regardless, but i will not have made it that excessively easy to do so.

and notice... how willing i was to make a deal, even after being screwed over and led down a path to my doom... even leaning heavily towards the belief that any deal made with them would end badly...

that willingness to comply that i've shown over and over, added to the fact that i simply do not have the contacts that dave has, that charlie has... or even that becky has (if nothing else, she has the potential for contacts, i am shut down completely with everyone other than erinn and kim)... wouldn't that all make me a pretty viable candidate to want to have around? i would always be garanteed to have no one to turn to but whoever keeps me alive RIGHT NOW. dave... not so much.


but then there's the idol question, and they're pretty damn sure dave has one, or even more, and not so sure that i do. not sure at all, that i am fairly sure of myself. :p
