I'm not normally someone who cares about sim games whatsoever, but this came out today and the tech behind it sounds cool af, I'm actually tempted to try it even though I hate flying in games. Basically the major innovation of this game is it renders the entire world on the fly via Bing Maps data, so you can essentially fly anywhere on Earth and have a photorealistic depiction. Plus it'll simulate people, animals, vehicles, weather, etc to bring the locations to life
Would be magnitudes harder to do this sort of thing in a GTA-like open world game but that'd be the ultimate dream for me
