Netflix's The Politician will be the third program run on the Holodeck.





Holodeck III is going back to its roots. The format for The Politician will be Big Brother. There'll be some twists to that. I have various ideas on how I want to tie the theme into the format, but for the here and now, the format is Big Brother. That means HoH competitions, PoV competitions, nominations, eliminations, a F2, etc. All with their own personal flair to better fit with the theme.





This will be a very political game. In essence, each contestant will be running their own political campaigns, fighting each other through various primaries, debates, scandals, all while trying to win the support of their constituents, and those in their party. A lot of it'll be flavor. Don't worry! I think BB is amazing as it is. :<3 You'll find out more when the game begins.

Vernon, who linked me to this place, turned me down! Something about the live nature of the rounds. I don't know how many people here have played orgs, but I can give a quick run down on what to expect. It's evolved to where people actively send each other like 3-7 paragraph IN CHARACTER essays, rping it up, while socializing throughout the day. It's closed id, so everyone is taking on a rep, and basically playing as that character. You can be as much or as little in character as you want. But you gotta hide your ID and all that. You basically PM each other all day, get to know each other, form alliances, all that jazz. Then at 9PM EST to 11PM EST Sun-Thurs the rounds take place. HoH, Noms, Veto, Replacement Nom, Eviction all happen between 9PM EST and 11 PM EST.

It's a pretty big commitment. I won't sugarcoat it. If you've never played in one, you probably will suck at it. ^_^ But everybody's gotta learn somewhere. I know I did back in 2013 or something. It's really fun, really in depth. Emotions run high. People can be super strategic, super social, super trolly, super emotional. It runs the gamut.

If you've never played before and want to play, I can give you tons of advice and we can chat about how stuff works. It is a big time commitment though. Like, a big one! People message all throughout the day to be ~social~ and safe come the rounds. So I totally get it if it's too big a commitment! But if you're at all interested, or have played in orgs before, big brother really is the best format. ^_^ And I'd love to have you. Message me!

I want to preface this by saying, this game is probably gonna rip newbie orgers apart. Though I've seen many first time orgers slay orgs, too. ^_^ I only say that to warn anybody who might sign up and has never played in an org before. Most people who play in orgs have played in dozens and dozens and with that comes experience and knowledge, etc. People are gonna be essaying each other IN CHARACTER, some only slightly in character lol, all making social bonds, feeling each other out, slowly making alliances, some people might send you 4 paragraph messages 2-3 times a day! Who knows! And there'll be 16 people, so 15 other people to talk to when this starts. Though it'll be widdled down each day. It'll be all closed id, no one knows who is who, all playing as the character.

I do not expect any of you guys to sign up, but if any of you guys are free this September and are available, this game starts Sept. 10th and each round, where you have to be there live to compete for HOH, Veto, noms, vote outs, each round starts at 9PM EST and will probably go until around 11PM EST. It's pretty intense, but really fun, too. Throughout the day you'll have private messages open and can message your fellow houseguests. And then that shuts off at 9PM, we go through the round, messages comes on periodically after the comps to chat about the noms, using the veto, who to vote, etc. Someone gets voted out at the end of the night. Then messages turn back on and you have another day-ish to strategize, socialize, all that good stuff until the next round at 9PM EST the following day.
