Way back when I was a psych major, internal dialogue was considered a developmental milestone. Is that no longer the case?

The reactions in that article are strange. My friend at work is one of them, she says she can only picture words

What is this?

There’s like 3 voices in my head at any given time. They’re all mine. They converse with each other. They debate, argue, dream, offer advice, laugh and do everything I do out loud at times.

I voted no, because I don't have a voice in my head.

But I can think out loud in my head, but I don't think I have conversations with an imaginary friend in my head lol.

I don't agree with the voice in my head/internal dialogue about majority of things by the way.

I just did a 180, because I do realize I have a voice in my head, but I don't have any conversations with it. I don't negotiate with hermorists.

That makes her a rarity. Men tend to be picture thinkers/mental landscapers more often than women.
