mannn

The Thing is my favorite horror movie ever and one of my favorite movies overall. The good news is they already did a shitty reboot (prequel) and it really didn't bother me. It sucked that it was bad ofc but it didn't hurt THE LEGACY. I never really agree that a modern day reboot or sequel can ruin the classic original

So if this is good then yay, if it's bad which it probably will be then whatever

My one hope is they at least go back to practical effects. They create amazing looking practical effects for the prequel and then the studio covered up all that work with CGI. Stupid. Maybe they learned a lesson for this one but prob not

Overall DUMBBBBB

I remember reading an article one time about how they need to stop remaking good movies because they were already GOOD. remake the bad ones and try again. But do it with a movie everyone liked and you will most likely fail
Rodney is a great guy. Oops, nevermind he's a terrible human being.
He likes his sandwiches to be Turkey and Swiss. Triangle cut. Let vern have his crust. Poison the part Rodney eats.

The Thing was itself a remake of the 1951 classic The Thing from Another World (: I do agree by and large tho

it probably won't be great but could be worse than having Blumhouse behind it who have at least a solid track record
