Ser Barristan Selmy served in the Kingsguard with honor and distinction for almost forty years before being dismissed on the orders of King Joffrey Baratheon shortly after he came to power. Following his dismissal from the Kingsguard Selmy made his way across the Narrow Sea to Astapor in order to pledge his fealty to Daenerys Targaryen.

Barristan's great but Syrio's scenes with Arya are some of my favorites. Him defending her at the end and taking down multiple people with a wooden sword was awesome. Syrio for me | |

I mostly liked the Syrio/Arya scenes because of Arya tbh. I LIKED him but he never was one of my favorites | |
