I gave it a big ole SIX.
I can tell why this film can be a bit divisive. It's definitely a hangout movie centered around political tension. You can tell that Hopper was on drugs when he made this, it even feels like he was probably on drugs when he was in the editing room.
Jack Nicholson is the MF best. I think this is the youngest I've seen him. He steals every bit of screentime he gets.
This movie does a solid job of creating an atmosphere. I enjoyed it but didn't walk away with much from it. | |

was close to a 6 but went with 5 in the end
idk, it was alright. It was definitely a hangout movie but the characters in it...weren't all that interesting to hang out with. The scene on the farm and Nicholson's campfire scene were the two highlights for me, soundtrack was p good too. Not much else to say! |  |
