Davos Seaworth, also known as the Onion Knight, is a former smuggler who helped provide food to Stannis' besieged troops. In return, he raised Davos to knighthood and cut off the four fingertips of his non-dominant hand. Davos was impressed by how fairly Stannis dealt with him and has continued to serve him since, becoming one of his most trusted advisers. While he is now on the side of the law, his smuggling tricks do still come in handy.
