Exhaustion is setting in. After so many unpredictable deaths, no one quite knows what to make of this war of the shadows. Is there anything to be gained by action? Will passivity allow your enemy to take fatal control? Devising strategy in a world without boundaries has left everyone questioning whether they're energized by novelty or incapacitated by it. They rise sleepily from their bedrolls and rub their bloodshot eyes, taking care to put themselves back together into a socially acceptable package before greeting the world. That is, until the first scream is heard. Somehow, in all the chaos of the Lannisters, Baratheons, and Targaryens striking shield and plate and flesh with sword, a member of the Stark family had fallen.

With all these deaths happening, Ahoda wasn't taking any precautions. He felt like they might be coming for him and he prepared accordingly. When, just after dawn, an assassin tried to sneak into his tent, knife in hand and going for the kill, the precariously balanced bucket of hot tar was just enough to both put a pause on his murderous mission and alert Ahoda that he should, y'know, do something. Just when Ahoda picked up his sword to confront this intruder, the cloaked figure disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
