I'm not a big chiefs fan, but have a monster sized man crush on Mahomes.
He gets his own thread.
I'll start with that no-look bullet he threw on Sunday and the 40 some yarder he threw across his body while backpeddaling later in that game.
Don't remember anyone this fun to watch since Barry Sanders.

IDK what that means, but the dude is a freak of nature with a football in his hands.

He was 0-3 against Oklahoma State | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

Mahomes will get the regular season MVP, but Brees will get the Super Bowl MVP.

Brees will get it because he needs 1 in his career. |

Maybe he should try being the actual MVP?

Brees will probably get it. Mahommes is deserving though. He has surprised everyone this year with how good he is, though I suppose it shouldn't be that much of a surprise since Andy Reid was willing to trade a playoff qb so that Mahommes could start.

If Brees finished the season somewhat strong he probably would've won it, but I'm like 99% sure Mahomes will get it after the last three-ish games. Mahomes barely ever faltered, put up historic numbers, and carried a team with an atrocious defense into the playoffs, whereas Brees "just" had a very good year (with a mediocre ending) with the help of a very good supporting cast

Yeah, there is no way Brees wins MVP over Mahomes. This guy put up 50 TDS, 5,000 yards in his first full year of starter. How can you give MVP to someone who threw for 1,000 less yards and 12 less TDs when their teams both finished at the top?
I've wanted to see Brees get it too, but the season Mahomes just had is historic. MVP is for what did you do for me this season, not what have you done your career. Brees had a hell of a season too, but if you compare seasons, hands down it goes to Mahomes.
