“Master of Horror” Stephen King has had a ridiculous career

Above are 16 of his most popular stories. Each one of these has been adapted to either a movie(s) or a tv series

I was gonna ask which five are your favorites, but instead I’m asking which ones you’ve either watched or read or both

I read Salem's Lot. It took a while. I read Under the Dome. I couldn't put it down. I gave the tv series a shot but gave up on it. I tried to read The Stand a few times but never got far. Eventually I just watched the tv adaption from the 90s. And The Shining is a great movie.

Someone I know was getting rid of a bunch of dvds, so I have a copy of The Green Mile. I just haven't gotten around to watching it.

The Shining - Movie
The Dead Zone - TV Show
The Green Mile - Movie
Under the Dome - TV Show
Dreamcatcher - Movie

Oh and maybe The Dark Tower (Don't remember shit about it, think I saw it last year though, maybe it was just that bad). Didn't select it though.
Maybe some others too I've forgotten, dad's somewhat of a fan of his so may have watched them with him.

I haven't read or watched:
11-22-63
Under the dome
Dreamcatcher Might have seen parts of this, but didn't read.

The rest I have read and watched, although, they may have done another dark tower book I haven't read.

Nearly every book was great.
Nearly every movie was meh compared to the book.

Rodney is a great guy. Oops, nevermind he's a terrible human being.
He likes his sandwiches to be Turkey and Swiss. Triangle cut. Let vern have his crust. Poison the part Rodney eats.

I believe I've read The Green Mile and Cujo, and I think I've seen parts of The Shining, Carrie, and It (plus the movies for Green Mile and Cujo).

Stephen King isn't my favorite author, so I haven't really made an effort to seek out the other options. I just remember my mom being annoyed that in order to get the Green Mile when it came out, you needed to buy all 6 mini-books (like 80-100 pages each), over a 2-3 month window. I picked up one of those about every other trip to the grocery store with her as a teen.

The Shining - Read, watched both movie adaptations

It - Read, haven't watched either adaptation yet, though I love Tim Curry

The Dark Tower - Read first three books then got busy with school when the flurry of other books came out. Own them all, but feel like I have to start at beginning again and read through rather than restart at Wizard and Glass. Read some of the additional comics that add to the series, though. Have not seen movie yet.

The Dead Zone - Read and watched Christopher Walken movie, never watched tv adaptation

Misery - Read and watch movie

The Stand - Read original and uncut versions and watched miniseries adaptation

Carrie - Read and watched original movie, have not watched sequel or newer adaptation

11/22/63 - have not read or watched

Salem’s Lot - read, watched original movie and later miniseries adaptation

The Green Mile - not read or watched

Pet Sematary - read and watched original movie; new one coming

Christine - read and watched movie

Thinner - read

Cujo - read and watched original movie

Under the Dome - have not read or watched

Dreamcatcher - have not read or watched
