Anyway, here are the five movies that I've selected!

Amour (2012) An octogenarian couple's bond of love is severely tested when one of them suffer a severe stroke. 2hrs 7 mins

Beginners (2010) A young man is rocked by two announcements from his elderly father: that he has terminal cancer, and that he has a young male lover. 1hr 45 mins

Brooklyn (2015) An Irish immigrant lands in 1950s Brooklyn, where she quickly falls into a romance with a local. When her past catches up with her, however, she must choose between two countries and the lives that exist within. 1hr 57 mins

Lean on Pete (2017) A teenager gets a summer job working for a horse trainer and befriends the fading racehorse, Lean on Pete. 2hrs 1 min

Mississippi Grind (2015) Down on his luck and facing financial hardship, Gerry teams up with younger charismatic poker player, Curtis, in an attempt to change his luck. 1hr 48 mins

This time I decided to go with five movies that showcase some really great acting. Amour and Brooklyn were both nominated for Best Actress and Beginners won for Best Supporting Actor. No Oscars for Mississippi or Lean on Pete BUT I've been on a BIG Ben Mendelson kick and I've heard that Lean on Pete is a breakthrough performance for Charlie Plummer.

As of right now, I believe Mississippi Grind is the only Netflix movie. Hopefully that doesn't prevent you all from voting for the other four. We've been pretty successful at watching non-Netflix movies in the past and I can definitely help out anyone that needs it.

I've never even heard of any of them so i voted all 5 and not even going to read the descriptions.

And going to watch Rose movie tomorrow to keep up my trend of waiting til the last moment.

I voted for all of them because none rang a bell at the time, but then realized I'd seen Beginners after reading the description. Oops!

Voted for all 5 and I haven't heard of any of them.

I will never be opposed to some Ben Mendelsohn. One of the best
