HEY FOLKS

Following up some of our more common suggestions that we get. People have thrown out the idea of creating new subforums for things such as music, books, politics, and food. Those are the most frequently mentioned ones to go along with General/Movies/TV/Video Games/Sports

IMMA BE HONEST, I don't know if there's a wide enough appeal for any of these four to warrant their own subforum. Appeal is the wrong word, more so enough content that people can/will post about on here

BUT, it's worth a look at! If any of you can see strong potential in any one of these four then SELL IT! Tell us which ones you can really see yourself posting in, creating threads for, helping to sustain activity within, etc. If there seems to be enough interest in one of these then we can start by making it a subforum within General as a test. If it takes off, we can see about bumping it onto the main page and making it a staple. If it flops it flops, the threads can just be dumped back into General. No harm done

If you don't see yourself participating in any of these enough then just vote for none of the above. And if you have any idea for one that you really like then post it below. You have up to 4 votes so you can choose all or some or none

Like I suggested before, FEats could be, at worst, a popular thread. That said, I'm not sure it'd make for the best subforum.

If it becomes a subforum, I could see contributing a bunch in there. Maybe even start my own BBQ thread.

I voted for politics. And, not really because I think i'd post a lot in it but because I think a lot of people have a lot to say and I do like to read it. And I think it's good that people are aware because we desperately need change and... nvm I'm getting political. :P

Plus, I definitely do not want to see cooking win cause that's not going to really be used as much as some people think imo and there is a food thread which doesn't get used that much.

Start these threads anyway tbh. See how they take off to help determine if it warrants a subforum
