Always interested to here techniques or suggestions of others, so please feel free to contribute to my healthy eating plan.

No fastfood, soft drinks, junk food etc..

even if you have easy simple healthy meals ideas, I'd like to hear them.

Do insanity. It's fun.

What works best for me:
- dropping all diet pop/soda/whatever you call it there ;)
- increasing the amount of water I drink
- whole grains, breads, pasta and rice
- portion control
- exercise with weight training, muscle burns fat
- increased veggies
- nothing to eat after 7p (that's the one I struggle with the most)
- favorite program is Body for Life
- eliminate all sweets

Drink water with everything, only eat snacks after dinner, eat smaller meals (and no fast food), get at least half an hour of walking/jogging every day. That's the gist of what I do and it's worked pretty well. Probably should be eating more fruits/veggies but I CBF so I just take a multivitamin supplement every day

I've been getting into intermittent fasting a lot lately. The idea is that instead of eating 16 hours a day, you only give yourself an 8 hour window, usually from noon-8. It's really helped me to get lean these past few weeks.

I already drink lots of water so Im not fussed about that. when I do go a hunger kick I usually do what boc says, but give up after two weeks (:

I usually do something like (in diet mode);
breakfast - snack (yogurt or fruit) - lunch - dinner - snack (piece of fruit or something)
and it does work.

My excersize is pretty good, I play sports fairly regular and what not.
I should do more muscle training. good one.

Be persistent.

That's the main one that I always fall down on!

I'm using this list to see where I fail, then again I'm skinny as hell and need to gain some fat anyways but this should be fun.

- dropping all diet pop/soda/whatever you call it there ;) (FAIL)
- increasing the amount of water I drink (PASS, drink at least 7-8 glasses a day)
- whole grains, breads, pasta and rice (Pass, white bread FTW)
- portion control (Passish, I'll have my fair bit of everything depending on the meal)
- exercise with weight training, muscle burns fat (Fail, just do my pushups, situps)
- increased veggies (Fail, though i have a salad with my dinner but just enough)
- nothing to eat after 7p (that's the one I struggle with the most) (FAIL, eat at like 8 to 9 every day)
- eliminate all sweets (FAIL FAIL FAIL, jumk food all the way)

Easy side dish/veggie: baked vidalia onions. Remove outer peel, core out a small bit of the center, place 1 beef bouillion (sp?) cube and small amount, less than a tsp of butter. Place in center of a piece of foil with the bouillion cube up, pull corners up to seal and bake until tender. Amazing with grilled steak or chicken :)
