I do have to say that I think this season is doing an interesting thing by following the people that get justice in the end instead of focusing on the people that are doing the wrong like they have in the past. It's making for a lot more happy endings for the main character in each plot-line which is interesting.

well that was an interesting way to end the season. Kinda felt like a series finale honestly. I'm pretty mixed on it

Liked the guy playing the villain, he was creepy af. The doctor story was probably the best vignette, I was cringing so hard at that self-harm scene. The monkey one was alright but mostly just for the reveal in the present that she was still in there

Main problem I had with it though is I really don't get why they're so insistent on linking all the Black Mirror episodes together now. An easter egg/passing reference here and there is one thing, but I don't see why it's necessary for them to ACTUALLY all be part of one universe. Part of the appeal of the separate stories is exploring different ways that the world can head towards a dangerous place and exploring the ramifications of those individual ideas. If the world has all these things happening at once it just feels like an unfocused/convoluted mess really

More minor, but the reveal of the mother inside her head at the end was super corny. And in general, I think they're becoming way too reliant on the whole digital copy trope at this point. Almost every episode this season used that, on top of all the other times they've used that before

I thought this one was....FUN!

The stories were sorta lighter and more out there. Like even though they were fucked they were still sorta presented in a goofy way, like the new girlfriend yelling at the monkey to behave and the guy eating the sardines to punish her. Different sorta tone

Felt like a handful of cutting floor ideas that they didn't really wanna make a full episode around so they came up with this, which again is a fun idea. The first one with the doctor was my favorite. The self harm scene was fucked, that shot of him in the mirror was shocking

Second bit would've been a really unique concept if it wasn't for a certain recent movie that I don't wanna spoil but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Still some new twists to it though, like the person being able to directly talk

Didn't care for the third segment or the revenge tale very much but I didn't see it coming (her being there for a specific reason). I was wondering what was gonna come out of him sweating profusely all episode

Weird episode, very different from the others. Like a collection of short stories. I don't care about everything being connected because to me it isn't that important, it's just like a meta novel idea for fun. I can still picture each story in its own universe perfectly fine if I want to, or at least many many years apart from each other so it might as well be in its own universe. Doesn't effect my enjoyment of the series really

Agreed about the human consciousness bit though, but I think the creators are smart enough to see their repetition there and to stray away from it going forward

Also thought the easter eggs around the museum were fun

But with that said, second worst of the season for me. Just hard for an episode with that format to come together in a meaningful way like a standard episode would. Not gonna make a huge impression on me in the long run like the majority of episodes. Fun but not mindblowing

Wow absolutely insane episode
Was kinda ready to shit on it when I saw it was a clip show special type deal but they played it really well

The main villian was great and how he progressed
You knew he was kinda a scumbag but as it went on he got worse and worse until the big reveal with the electric chair

The first one was good, a little extreme switch to the person getting addicted to pain, you could kinda see where it was going where it got to the point of him killing people buy I enjoyed the ride.

The second was really good, I liked this spin on cookie usage. I complained about this a lot as they were really repetitive about it but this was a different spin on it. I could see people doing this shit if it was available. but that dude...what was he thinking. You want your dead wife yappin at you when you're trying to plow other bitches?? Come on now.

The final bit with the electric chair tied it all together and took it away. Another innovative cookie usage, I don't remember if we've seen holograms/cookies actually entering the real world so that was cool. I like the commentary on True Crime shows and how much bullshit they really are. Did not expect the mom cookie in her head twist at all.

Probably my favorite episode of the season. Probably tied with DJ, I keep going back and forth. Perfect finale

I think this was a good episode. I didn't see the revenge thing coming either but I like that twist. The first part definitely was hard to watch and it shocks me that people could be addicted to pain. I don't mind a mild pain like when you bite a mouth ulcer but that was some crazy shit.
