I am a junior, so I have the same name as my father. This has caused all sorts of problems:

- when Arlington wasn't going to let me vote because they said I moved to Spokane, Washington, despite the fact that my dad and I have different SSNs and haven't lived in the same house together since 1992 (1994 if you count a couple summers in college).

- My dad's health insurance got messed up when they thought he'd moved to Arlington, where my dad has never lived. I still get hearing aid ads in the mail and shit like that because they think I'm retired and 73 years old.

If I had been a girl I would have been Katrina.

I dodged a bullet on that one.

Dylan means creature from he sea. They got the spelling from Bob Dylan.

My dad wanted to name me Seamore. Never been totally sure if this was a joke or not.

But I'm thankful for that otherwise I would have been Marty. yuck. If I was a girl, I'm not sure I've ever been told. I had a sister born a year later and they named her Jennifer, so that probably would have been it.

If your name is Richard and their options were "Tom, Dick, and Harry", that would be awesome.

My dad is a nerd who has two major obsessions: Jaws and famed long running goofy as hell vampire soap opera Dark Shadows

My dad suggested the name Curtis to my mom and they went with it. He later revealed he picked it because the creator of Dark Shadows is named Dan Curtis and the show was such a big part of his life growing up

My brother Shawn is Shawn Michael Page. He suggested Shawn Michael to my mom and she liked it so again they went with that. Years later they watched Jaws together (my dad’s favorite thing ever) and my dad had a smirk on his face leading up to the reveal that Chief Brody’s two sons are named Shawn and Michael, that was the first time my mom realized

My dad is Richard Allan Page and I’m Curtis Richard Allan Page aka C.R.A.P.
