25-30 players. Applications and character creation open next month, running through January. Game begins in February or March, in honor of the anniversary of Labyrinth 2.
Voters for Bryce are guaranteed a spot.
-----
This is the main thing I'm offering as Bryce's running mate, independent of his own promises. The game will happen regardless of whether or not Bryce wins, but voters for Bryce that want to participate will be given a guaranteed spot. And a win would keep spirits up, of course. My other idea, let's say, did not seem to go over well. Giving everyone access to seeing their reputation history was my idea, since it is one of a handful of things that would actually be possible for a moderator to do. I apologize for it, and I can see where some people would see it as a Pandora's box of drama waiting to be opened.
I will push Bryce (since he has zero idea of who or what a DB is) to argue for the lifting of the ban of Darkus Black. There's no reason for him to still be banned at this point. People have done and said much worse things than he did, including myself. The amount of members who want to give him a second chance should trump the one administrator that decided to ban him. I believe in this cause 100% and not just because he bribed me with two baby sock monkeys one year ago. In honor of this, Bryce voters may or may not also receive a baby sock monkey of their own if they provide an Amazon wishlist containing one.
I am also pledging my time to help Bryce with any and all of his games that he needs assistance with during his tenure as Moderator of Further Entertainment. Both of us are long time members (NOT that Dylan and Shadow aren't), and while maybe not all of us see eye to eye with each other, I think it's safe to say there's not that many people out there that outright hate both of us simultaneously. One of us will be more than receptive to your complaints and suggestions, and will take them to heart and run them up the ladder.
Plus with Bryce's relationship with JV, it would be one step removed from having a veteran Survivor castaway as a Moderator on FE. And I think that's kind of neat, if only in theory. I implore you to go to the ballots and cast your votes for Bryce. But I also wish Tim/Dylan and Shadow/Vlady good luck because they are fine gentlemen in their own right. Even though Tim's diss track made me question reality for a little while.
As my last bit, I will follow up with Zersch that I agree in the things said above. We will be working together a lot which is why I wanted him as my campaign manager. I think Zersch and I have both individually proved many strengths and facets of creativity and I think we can bring a lot of fun things to FE that haven't been around much.
But beyond games, I do think Zersch and I have a bigger voice when it comes to the forums and I think we could work hard to enact some change.
My final campaign promise is that if I am moderator, I will allow each member that desires, to send me something in the mail they would like to be signed by Jeff. Obviously, keep it within reason. I know this may not be for everyone, but that's ok.
I know there are a lot of Survivor fans out there and I have quite a connection to some of these people. Outside of Jeff, I'd be willing to do the same thing (a signature or potentially a nice video like Lex did for Curtis) for those that vote for me from a Survivor of their choice. Sometimes I attend events or meet up with various Survivors. So, if I'm going somewhere and you want a signature from someone that will be there, I will work my butt off to get something to you from them.
Since it has been discussed, I don't want this to be considered a scare tactic or a threat, but consider it more like a present I give to those who give to me. I've promised quite a few things and I will make sure those follow through. But I'd also like to give a cherry on top to those who are willing to support me and put faith in me.
So, if this is seen as a mean thing or a threat, I apologize, but I don't want it viewed this way.
Outside of generic discussion and explaining more in detail of what I plan to do as mod, this will be my last big push. But feel free to continue PMing me with questions/concerns and let's figure out how we can work my modship together!
Promising spots to people that voted for you?
Sounds like oligarchy to me, not cool.
So people that didn't vote for Bryce are less likely to get to play?

Let's be chill, Igor. This has been discussed.
Also, just because someone has a spot if they want it doesn't mean they won't turn it down or not be able to play. But this seems like an argue just to argue post considering you would be one of those people offered a spot, am I right?

It's the principle.
I don't want an ill earned spot.

then don't play, Igor. Dylan offered the same thing.

I still want to play, so do others.
I don't want to take a spot away from someone else.
It should all be fair.
