The Darrow Mansion had been abandoned for years. Cletus Darrow became a shut-in once his family began to go their separate ways and carry out their own lives. But, he was tired of the drab life he was living and decided to throw a small Mystery Gang & "friends" reunion.
The night was full of awkward air between friends, foes, and those in between as people began showing up to the affair. No one knew how exactly to react to the demons of their past hanging around the mansion, but everyone who arrived had a motive to be there.
As they gathered for dinner, Cletus began to make a toast.
"Thank you all for coming tonight. I know a lot of us have had differences in the past, but it fills my heart with joy to know that we can put our past behind us and move forward with our li-"
Before Cletus could finish his sentence, the lights flickered and shut off. There are a few screams mixed with the sounds of movement before a final cry for help. After a few seconds, the lights flicker back on and everything seems.. normal.
Except for Cletus.
Who has now taken the place of the pig he had cooked for all of his guests. Complete with an apple stuffed in his mouth, for aesthetic reasons.
There are more gasps of horror as people step away from the table, trying to wrap their minds around what just happened.
The only thought that became clear was that there were guests here that had not put aside their differences and their motives for being here were much more sinister than they'd imagined.
IT IS NOW DAY ONE.
THE DAY WILL END IN 24 HOURS, UNLESS A LYNCH OCCURS BEFORE THEN.
