Yeah that battle was p sweet, I'm enjoying Euron much more this season. If for nothing else but killing the Sand Snakes
rest of the episode was just alright, no idea why they spent so much time with Grey Worm/Missandei of all things again. It probably means Grey Worm's gonna die soon but I still don't give a shit about either of those characters
I liked the parallel to the Ned/Littlefinger scene from S1 with Jon/Littlefinger here. Can't really see Jon going anywhere though so I'm guessing it's gonna turn out differently this time

Theon/Jorah have gotta be building up to some huge roles in the climax, especially Theon. Not sure why they made him revert back to Reek again, I thought him helping Sansa escape was supposed to be him turning the corner

I'd almost forgotten about this thanks to the end of the episode.
That scene went on for so goddamn long that my annoyance turned into laughter, and then back again.

The snakes got the early season SNIP SNIP treatment, only this time I couldn't be happier. Probably the worst characters in the series. "MAMAAAA!!" in unison. Jesus Christ
I lol'd hard when Theon wildly jumped overboard. Sad to see him take a big step backwards
The effects on Jorah are so gross. You got this Sam

Been liking this season a lot so far!
I was worried that Mylod was going to ruin the battle, but he did a pretty good job this episode! Let's hope he can do a good job again with the invasion of Casterly Rock.
I like the pacing of the season actually - ofcourse I much rather prefer s1-s3 pacing, but considering we are at the home stretch it's cool seeing them even out the scenes with effective plot progression; good dialogue, good set-up, good homages to past seasons, and no filler (aside from Missandei/Greyworm) as well as with some action, it feels just right actually. A big step forward from S5 and a part of S6. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

As most of you guys know - I've always been the books biggest supporter and used to always give the show shit (when it rightfully deserved shit > but sometimes even when it didn't deserve shit), but with this recent update about GRRM being 'uncertain' TWOW will even be out by 2019, I'm starting to warm up to the show. GRRM thought the book was 'months away' back in October of 2015, it's almost been 2 years and now he's uncertain about it being out 2 years from now. I sincerely hope he'll give us a long explanation on what the fuck went wrong after TWOW is published. No man estimates that bad. It also doesn't help that he admitted on focusing a big chunk of his time on Fire & Blood (and it's late-2018 release date) after he promised he wouldn't work on that till atleast TWOW was out. It's a middle-finger to the fans and it hurts.
But about the show.
Sure, I still hate what they did to Dorne, them changing all the storylines and omitting important characters like Arianne, Lady Stoneheart, Victarion, etc, but atleast we'll GET a guaranteed ending with the show!
It's sad to admit - but with these recent developments I'm afraid we MIGHT still get TWOW, but I believe we'll never see ADOS on the bookshelves. Which makes me sad - but we gotta get used to the idea. Also - at the current place the book-story is in now, I cannot see it being wrapped up in just 2 books without it becoming rushed and inconsistent as well - so he'd have to get an 8th/9th book to make it satisfactory. Which just won't happen. It's been over 6 years since ADWD came out and I'm sad to admit all of my uncertainties considering I was always on the front train of all the hype-trains about possible release dates. But you just grow tired after awhile and see the situation for what it is. :(
I'll still be in the midnight lines if any of GRRM ASOIAF books come out, but I need to start being thankful for the show instead of just shitting on it all the time.
tldr: Miko puts down his pride by warming up to the show and admits to his deepest fears of ASOIAF never getting an ending. | 'Oh my god, it's full of stars!'

That Greyworm scene was one of the weirdest and longest scenes ever. Too long.
The Sam/Jorah scenes were definitely the best of the episode. It's great to see Sam really taking control of his situation.
I feel like the Dorne ladies were just hyper-sexualized/corny characters so them dying meant absolutely nothing to me. It did suck though because Oberyn was my favorite character in series and this whole episode made Dorne look bad.
I can't wait for Cersei to shoot a giant arrow into a dragon's face.
Maybe it was just me, but I thought the boat scene shots were awkward. Like the sequence of shots and pacing where Euron crushes that dude on the deck was really weird to me. IDK! I know it has a lot to do with the stormy ship setting but it just took me out of the whole scene.
Theon jumping off the boat is me whenever life and responsibility shows up.

Jon giving Littlefinger the long finger and heading south makes me think he's going to die at the end of the season.
Again.
Daenerys can't siege King's Landing without a fleet so that plan is dead and since the sand snakes are dead, Dorne probably won't aid her now, there's no one left there.
She has little choice but to attack King's landing now and they showed that they have ballistae that can probably kill dragons.
Feels like they were foreshadowing their downfall in this ep.

Our kids were in thee room, so we turned to a different channel. Came back and saw sex still going on, turned channel. Did this three times before we finally were able to come back. | How can you have any pudding if you won't eat your meat? |

Also, this is probably the first full episode I've watched in many many seasons (outside of switching out the sex scene). I'm just glad we finally have Dany on this side of the water.

Euron is great!
The Arya thing was stupid. | "So, uh, what are we saying here? If we save LA from a nuclear bomb, then you and I can get together for dinner and a movie?"

That's what perplexed me so much about how badly they've handled Dorne. They NAILED Oberyn and made him an even better character on the show than he was in the books. Then everything else that relates to Dorne turned into a bad CW show
The Sand Snakes weren't anything too special in the books but they definitely missed opportunities with Doran/Ellaria/Arianne. Ellaria actually bothers me more than the sand snakes on the show just because she legitimately had some great characterization in the books that they COMPLETELY reversed on the show. In the books she's the one that's trying to talk down the sand snakes from getting revenge (basically taking Doran's side) and expresses how futile revenge can be. Whereas on the show she's so ridiculously cartoonish, her "All Lannisters deserve to die!!!!1!!" line this ep was one of her worst yet. Doesn't help either that that actress isn't exactly the greatest
