Detective Terney was a bad man who did bad things, but even still he was not ready to die. Recent shack ups had him on edge, he fully expected IA to show up for him soon. He was not going to have that, he was going to get some money and skip town. Unfortunately he picked the wrong deli owner to hit up for protection money. The man was sick of paying off and had nothing left to lost. When Terney asked for money the deli man fired both barrels of his shotgun from behind the counter. When the police showed up Terney was all over the store, his upper and lower body had been completely separated by the shotgun blasts.
