There were several safehouses around Gotham that Batman and the Family were able to use, when they needed a bed, a shower, the opportunity to duck into some street clothes. Whatever they needed them for, they were there.

This was one of those times that he was grateful that Bruce thought of this.

He had just broken up a gang of hoodlums terrorizing a group of citizens outside the movie theatre, when he ducked into one of the safehouses near by.

A call had gone out for some backup. There was some big trouble by the docks and that would be his next stop.

When he entered the safehouse, Lamps noticed that something felt off.


He turned to get out as soon as he could, but he couldn't escape the explosion.
