The latest edition of The Gotham Gazette paid tribute to the heroes that had lost their lives in the war that's been destroying the city.

Heroes like Batgirl and Nightwing, two prominent members of the Bat-family.

At least there's been some casualties on the other side as well.

Doomsday, Maxwell Lord, even Bane who'd been working alone, but causing just as much havoc.

But he had hope that things were going to end well. He was also grateful to have something to do to keep him busy, to fight the fight in his own way. As Metropolis' own Lois Lane had done. Like Bluebird and Spoiler had done before their lives too, were cut short.

Someone burst into the office of The Gazette, shouting.

"Quick! Hide me! There's somebody chasing me!"

Mal turned to see Jamie.

"What's going on?" Mal asked. "Who's out there?"

"I don't know. I didn't get a good look, but they'll be here any second."

Before they could react, one of the outside walls crumbled and behind it stood a shadowy figure with a gun.

The shot was silent, but it hit Jamie in the head.

He was dead before he hit the ground.




Jamie has died.

Mal was frozen with fear. He knew he'd be next.

But the figure left the scene without a word or a second glance.

I'm alive, he thought to himself.

Then he realized he needed to get on the phone. He needed to call him.

He picked up the phone and dialed.

The butler answered.

"Oh, Alfred!" he cried. "I need Bruce to come ---"

His words just ended.

His voice disappeared.

He never saw his assailant coming.

He realized his throat had been sliced moments before he died.





Mal has died.

Anyone else have a feeling that one of those info points is him/his team attacking Sock N1?

Wouldn't sock be announced as surviving an attack? I gathered he was FBI agent after socks flip

Big or skit,imo. With DS only killing every other night, I could see 2 vigs.

@ahoda - not moving, I just happen the only person in my firm who can also practice in TN and LA, and now I'm getting clients in both, and so are my partners, so I get saddled with all of it. It's fucking chaos.

Yesterday, when I suggested that the Vern lynch leads me to believe that one of Ahoda or mittens is scum Ahoda came out and said it wasn't him but might be mittens. Mittens skipped straight past that option to simply tell me I am wrong. How would he know Ahoda isn't scum? That my friends, is possibly a slip...
