might get this this weekend. I like the WWI setting, which has been relatively untapped so far

only thing that turns me off a bit is I'd have to get it on Origin

I watched some footage, and I dunno, it just looks like COD with a WW1 skin to me. That may be unfair. But I'm biased anyway, I've gone off most FPS games personally.

I see that they have had to basically do away with historical accuracy with this title too. Air battles over London? Full plate wearing knights armed with SMG's?

I like my WW1 games realistic. You should sit in a trench all game and die of dysentery before the big push. Now that is a game I would buy

It's always been leeeeagues above CoD imo. Campaign I can get but multiplayer is fundamentally very different

Okay, that headline put me in my place!

I will concede that it's got the novelty factor on its side. WW1 is an untapped setting in video games.

Didn't like the beta. Not good gameplay and was getting spawn camped from across the map.

Did hear the single player campaign is extremely good though. Might pick it up for that alone when it's on sale at Christmas.

Played a ton on Xbox One since last week. (EA Access and I got the Deluxe Edition on Tuesday of this week).

This is the game I've been wanting for ages. It's fantastic.

Got this for PS4 and have a squad with my friends, it's so dynamic the maps look great. Anyone with a PS4 have it?

The pigeon mode is awesome

I've only played Edwards' first mission so far, but there's been three pretty bad bugs I've encountered already

One was where I'd go into repair mode on my tank automatically for like 2 minutes straight, so I literally couldn't move or shoot for that time

One was where whenever I tried to enter my tank it'd automatically eject me back out. This also lasted a few minutes

And then there was one when I was 'scouting' that big battleground with the German tanks/trucks, and I couldn't complete the mission at all. There was dramatic music playing nonstop while I hopelessly looked around for wtf I was supposed to do next, since there was no more enemies in sight. Finally, I crossed over a ridge away from the battle and see that there's an enemy tank helplessly spinning its treads against a barrier, completely stuck. I almost felt bad killing that sad sap

OTHER THAN THAT it's been p okay!! At least it looks pretty
