Above are 16 random movies released in the year 1995. I took them from a list of popular or successful movies from that year.
Choose all the movies that you've seen from this list. Which is your favorite? Which did you hate? How would you rank the ones you have seen?

heavyweights is so good. or at least i remember loving it, it's been so long since i've actually seen it.
billy madison will never not be funny to me, but i can totally understand people who don't like it
the one from the list i haven't seen and really want to is seven, i've heard it's good. i don't think i've even heard of casino, heat, or twelve monkeys.

Toy Story - Great. One of my favorites as a kid and it still holds up today.
Batman Forever - Got a really fuzzy memory of it, but I wasn't into Batman at all growing up so all the 90's Batman movies were bleh to me.
Jumanji - Haven't seen it since I was a kid but I remember being really, really excited about this movie and we ended up watching it in school when it was just released on VHS.
Usual Suspects - Really great. I only watched it once and have been meaning to give it a rewatch after knowing the plot fully. The first time around I didn't really know what was going on but when it all clicked, it was amazing.
Se7en - Aside from the head in a box scene, I couldn't tell you a thing. I watched it with my mom on cable TV ages ago. First and last time I saw it.
Pocahontas - Some girl made me watch it when I was like 6. Had no interest in it whatsoever and was mad I got pulled away from playing video games to watch it.
Heavyweights - Don't put Twinkies on your pizza! I loved this movie and could quote a good chunk of it when I was young, but I haven't seen it in a very long time.
Apollo 13 - Really good.
Billy Madison - Great. Still super quotable today. One of Sandler's best when he was funny.
Very surprisingly have never seen Casino -- considering how much I love mob movies. I've seen bits and pieces, but never sat down and watched it. And I don't know how I've never seen Heat what with being such a huge De Niro fan. |

The Usual Suspects - Favorite movie of all time after LOTR
Toy Story - Favorite Pixar movie
Goldeneye - Favorite Bond movie (mostly because of growing up with the game)
Jumanji - One of my favorite Robin Williams movies while I was growing up
Heavyweights - My favorite child comedy while growing up. Tony Perkis will forever be one of the best comedic villains
Billy Madison - One of my favorite comedies while growing up. Adam Sandler at his silliest/best along with Happy Gilmore
LOTS OF FAVORITES THIS YEAR!
Seven - Really great. Wut a year for Kevin Spacey
Pocahontas - Barely remember
Apollo 13 - Barely remember
Die Hard with a Vengeance - Barely remember
Haven't seen:
Braveheart
Heat
Casino
Clueless
Twelve Monkeys

Seen:
Toy Story- cute, but everyone has seen that
Batman Forever- The destruction of Burton's Batman world begins. :(
The Usual Suspects- classic Tarantinoesque film
Goldeneye- Literally just saw this again the other day. Dench makes her first appearance as M (and she has been the most awesome M ever).
Twelve Monkeys - The Terry Gilliam effect overcomes the Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis effect* to make a great time travel movie.
Not seen but felt like I have:
Braveheart - felt like I've seen this movie because parts have been overplayed over and over, but just wasn't interested in Mel Gibson's "let's be a historical figure going to war" phase
Jumanji- It's a game. It's a movie! It's not what I am interested in.
Seven- I feel like I know the whole plot already. But I couldn't overcome the "Brad Pitt effect*"
Movies I wasn't going to watch anyway:
Casino- Hey look- Vegas!
Pocahontas- Hey look, Disney fucks up history!
Heat- Crime drama that never peaked my interest
Heavyweights- Never heard of it
Apollo 13- Not a huge fan of disaster dramas, prefer fantasy/sci fi drama to it
Clueless- teen girl movie, nuff said
Die Hard with a Vengeance- Bruce Willis effect*, also long to revive sequel to series of films that were fun as a kid but somewhat obnoxious when I got older.
Billy Madison- naw, thank you.
*- *person* effect. Usually a negative, when an actor is so busy playing a version of themselves (usually a fantasy version) that watching any movie with them in it becomes too difficult to bear, leading to avoiding movies with them in it. There are positive versions of this effect that tend to get me to watch a movie or that overwhelm the negative. In the case of Twelve Monkeys, the Gilliam effect was enough to overcome both the Willis and Pitt effects in the movie.
The Tom Cruise effect is super strong in the negative- so strong that it hasn't been overcome by the positive Phillip K. Dick effect (Minority Report) nor the Simon Pegg effect (Mission Impossible).

Heavyweights is the only one I haven't seen, and after looking it up on imdb, it doesn't look like I missed out on much.
Seven is hands down the best movie from this list. I also really enjoyed Die Hard, Goldeneye, Apollo 13, and a couple of the other more 'adult' movies. | |

Seen all but Apollo 13 and Seven Monkeys.
Clueless is legitimately the best movie on that list. | Nintendo Network ID: EctoCooler47 |
