The seven of them stood outside the front door.

"Doesn't look like anyone's home," Rose commented.

"I could swear I saw some movement inside, through the window," Badger said.

"Let's try the backdoor," suggested Wikey.

The gate to the backyard was open, and what a mess it was.

Broken toys spread all over the yard.

"Guess some kid got tired of these things," observed Eben.

They made their way to the back door, when Timmah stepped on something sharp, no doubt a piece of some broken toy.

"Ow!" he yelled as he fell backwards, right through the ground!

"Whoa!" exclaimed Angi. "Timmah is like, gone."

"What kind of people have a hole like this in their backyard?" Badger asked.

"Someone who might require a place to bury the bodies of the people they kill?" Wikey replied.

"Timmah!" Rose shouted down the hole. "Can you hear me? Are you alright?"

There was no answer.

Timmah had landed on top of a bunch of sharp metal objects, which had impaled him.

Timmah has died.

I'll start off with an apology for being absent for the latter part of last week. Extremely busy with a conference, wedding, and all sorts of shit over the weekend.

I read back through the last couple days when I missed most of it live, but it's always harder to get a feel for the action when reading afterward.

I've got a feeling yesterday's vote was between two different mafia members.. But that's just a feeling right now. I'll have to go back through all the info (since I haven't kept good notes) to see everyone's claims and what makes most sense.

Angi is the only one that is 100% cleared from my perspective. I think scum has left her alive because they see her role as non threatening and think that she is someone who they think that they'll be able to sway to vote their way (sorry, love you Angi). It could also be that they want more opportunity to see her avatar in this thread :P.

I am fairly confident that Wikey is town. If he was mafia with a double vote, he could have easily ensured that Ari didn't leave last round, and then they could have made sure that I left this round because by tying it up on me. Even if you don't believe my claim they'd have been able to force a no lynch, which would have given them another night phase to kill and take control of the game from that point forward. The only way that Wikey IS mafia is if he is just fucking around because he feels he has it on lock. But with Rose having not claimed yet, that would seem like a really risky thing to do.

Which leaves Rose and Eben (and myself).

Rose has been busy with Sausage Island stuff, and I think Dadd would have at least dropped a bread crumb about her if she wasn't town. There is also the possibility that Dadd got info and Rose and just didn't anticipate that he was going to be lynched, because that happened very last min. But I find that a little unlikely because town really was lacking direction the day Dadd got lynched, and it would have been an ideal time to step forward and get rid of known scum.

Eben's claim to being town is because he survived an attack after GF and SK were gone and said he was Town BP. On one hand, claiming town BP could be seen as risky if he'd been using a night action (her could have been called out by tracker). But if he is mafia, I don't see any other claim options available to him, he pretty much HAD to go with that claim or else he becomes target #1. After he claimed, he went quiet except to throw heat on me from what I can see. Both Buffy and Ari only really brought up Eben to mention that they thought he was town.

Still, all she need do is claim her role, nothing more. It would just make things a whole lot more simple for us. It would narrow it down to Badger and Eben.

Speaking of which, I'm leaning more towards Eben at this moment in time. I could buy him making a fake BP claim, and I could also see TIB hiding behind him.

Actually, reading over the previous day I wouldn't be surprised if Badger flipped Mafia too, and we were simply deciding which scum to lynch...

I can see why reading over the last day when it was between me and Ari, that's why you would think that. But if you look back at Ari's and my posts before the last day phase, he pretty adamant about targeting me. Especially when he was trying to get me killed so that Buffy could use another role block.

Well firstly, I can't believe I missed this quote from Day 8. Had I seen this I doubt I would have relented on Ari towards the end of the day.
