I love Ash, but I felt the season wasn't as strong as it should have been. There were a couple stand out episodes, but overall I felt that they played Ash less as a "lovable loser" and more like an asshole racist half the time. I also think that killing Amanda sucked and Lucy Lawless didn't get naked enough times like her previous visits to Stars. :rofl:

Bummer, this season is easily the worst of the three so it's a shame it's going out on this note. They changed showrunners after s2 and whoever's doing it now is just...not great. I wish they got someone better for one more season and went out with a bang. I really wanted an Army of Darkness season with the trio back in the past, that would be so great

The tone was all over the place unfortunately. I agree that they turned him a bit too dumb/douchey/racist at times. Bruce Campbell was as sharp as ever but the material wasn't always the best
