Total war: Attila apparently just came out, it's supposed to be better than Rome 2 in every way.
I'll probably wait until I get a new PC and the price drops to buy it, but reading the reviews I have high hopes.
My favorite review so far is:
"Played as the Nordmen, Danes faction. Took a city at 2nd turn. 3 factions instantly declare war to me and attack my 2 cities with 4000 guys each faction. Lost the game in 3 turns.

Oh man, Firewatch is doing an open-to-the-public demo day next week in San Francisco. The things I'd read recently made me think it wasn't actually very far along in development. This is one of the games I'm the most excited for this year so I'm P PUMPED right now.

Damn, there's another batch of really cool looking early access indie survival games but some of the reviews on this one that looks really good are a little sketchy. On the other hand, it's on sale... (:
