This has to be one of the most ignorant and stupid things ive ever seen. Do they REALLY not know how it was for African-Americans some odd 40-50 years ago? Im not sure if there exist words that can effectively describe this lunacy.

The fact that there are Christians out there banding behind a brand because they openly oppose gay marriage is disgusting, revolting even. Most of these people wouldnt rally up at their local food handout place would they? (Im not sure what the right word here is) Do they help the homeless? Feed the poor? Help the needy? Things Jesus actually talked about? No they go out and buy fried chicken and tell other citizens what they can and cant do.

How does it hurt them if Mark and John want to get married? To have the same rights as other couples? I honestly dont get this, why oppose something that wont affect them at all? Its not like all man / woman marriages are going to dissolve as soon as a man / man or a woman / woman marriage happens. Doesnt even make sense.

Im obviously just experiencing this insanity through the interwebs but how is it over in the US? Why the hate?

Its obviously not a majority that thinks this, but there seem to be a lot.

Christians discriminating against gays. Not just blacks.

I just think its disgusting they have so easily forgotten what they had to go through to fight against discrimination themselves.

I was wondering if someone would bring this up, didn't expect the icelander... yes this is terrible. Absolutely terrible. I've argued with way too many stupid people on facebook over this shit.

I try to tell them it's not about freedom of speech, it's about Chick-fil-a donating Millions of dollars to anti-gay causes in order to STOP GAYS FROM REACHING EQUALITY.

If you tell them they are denying people's rights they just say things about denying Chick-fil-a's rights to do what THEY want which is silly because they are essentially complaining that you are taking away their right to take away someone elses right.

Just blows my mind the idiocy.

So many christians talk about homosexuality being wrong, but it's not in the commandments, and jesus never spoke about it, so it really can't be THAT bad right? It's mostly mentioned in Leviticus, which is in the old testament, near other laws like "don't wear mixed fibers" and "don't have sex with a girl on her period" and "don't eat pork!"

I know it's not all of them, hell I consider myself a christian myself but this is just... MADNESS. If you have to find a very specific verse to support your hate then you shouldn't be hating at all.

Its pretty ironic that they take that one verse from Leviticus about gays and preach about it and stuff it in everyone's face. But then they go and break most of the other ones! Really weird

Don't cut your hair nor shave. (Leviticus 19:27)

If a man sleeps with his father's wife... both him and his father's wife is to be put to death. (Leviticus 20:11)

If a man or woman has sex with an animal, both human and animal must be killed. (Leviticus 20:15-16).

If a man has sex with a woman on her period, they are both to be "cut off from their people" (Leviticus 20:18)

Psychics, wizards, and so on are to be stoned to death. (Leviticus 20:27)

If a priest's daughter is a whore, she is to be burnt at the stake. (Leviticus 21:9)

People who have flat noses, or is blind or lame, cannot go to an altar of God (Leviticus 21:17-18)

it should also be noted that nowhere in the bible does it mention anything about Lesbianism... all verses pertaining to homosexuality talk about a man sleeping with a man (and all other verses people translate as being anti-gay actually call them simply "effeminate" in the KJV... as in, don't be womanly if you are a man, straight or not.)

So, really, christians have no reason whatsoever to be against lesbianism. If we want to get technical.

lol sorry guys, I've had to argue this issue QUITE a LOT in the past few days so I've got all my arguments prepped, needed or not, just to show how stupid you would have to be to argue FOR this kind of thing.

I like the Sandwhiches. And I think Chick Fil A is playing it wrong. I know they had a support Chick Fil A day a couple days ago and im not sure if it was a support Chick Fil A's belief on marriage type of thing or just a support Chick Fil A because there food is kick ass awesome. I assume it probably was the former where it shoudl of been the latter. Who cares about a head honcho's view when they make really good food. Not all the owners/employees see that way.

I dunno I don't really care that much one way or the other. Im just sick of seeing every other facebook post either supporting or against Chick Fil A.

Makes me hungry.

It was weirdly at the Chick Fil A that I go to.

it's not really about what the owner thinks, it's what he is doing with his profits that is making people boycott and protest (or in the case of the the people in Ari's post, go there in droves!)
