So I'm dreading actually starting this game up (Xbox One) after reading nothing but complaints about it. Looks like Ubisoft has fucked up yet again.

Maybe they'll patch it to fix the major issues in the future but still. I should have got Sunset Overdrive or something.

Where does this game fit into the story?

I used to love these games and the second one was pure class. But from there on out its been a huge disappointment and I barely made it through the 'expansions' of the second one and stopped mid through the 3rd one.

Then I hear the 4th one would be mostly around ships? How has that worked out? I hated that part of the 3rd one so I didnt bother with it.

There's also one called Rogue that just came out where you play as a Templar.

Unity is the French revolution and there's some bullshit about some guy with special genes and you want to find him before abstergo does.

IV is actually awesome, it's basically a pirate game with Assassin stuff in the mix. You sort of reluctantly join the assassins. Great game and the naval combat isn't too bad, they improved a lot from 3 which I haven't actually played.

tbh I've never gotten too tired of these games. I always REALLY like the worlds that they build, and I can spend endless hours scaling buildings and stealth killing unsuspecting guards. Multiplayer was a ton of fun too. It had some of my favorite multiplayer modes in any game I've played

New one looks pretty great but I haven't read about any of the problems it has. If it's the usual repetition complaints then it won't bother me. If it's clunky controls then that sux. Co-op seems really fun

Apparently Ubisoft blames AMD (who make the graphic cards for PS$ and XBone(and the processors?)) for all the graphical glitches, even though it also glitches if you have Nvidia graphic cards and intel processors.
