Above are 15 random movies released in the year 2000. I took them from a list of popular or successful movies from that year.

Choose all the movies that you've seen from this list. Which is your favorite? Which did you hate? How would you rank the ones you have seen?

DISCUSS!

Some others:

The Patriot
Gone in Sixty Seconds
Mission Impossible II
The Emperor's New Groove
Final Destination
The Beach

Cast Away
Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Scary Movie
Unbreakable

Cast Away and Unbreakable = :D
Scary Movie was always kind of a guilty pleasure (but only that one)
the Grinch was meh

Of the others I've only seen The Emperor's New Groove and it was glorious.

Damn, I almost saw them all. Erin Brokovich broke my streak.

Requiem for a Dream, American Psycho, Gladiator, and Unbreakable are my favorites from the poll. O'Brother is strong as well. I never seek it out but if I see it on I will watch.

Didn't really hate any of them. I would probably rank my top five in the order I mentioned them above. Cast Away, Traffic, and Almost Famous would likely be six, seven, and eight. The rest could joust for the remaining spots.

lol as these go back in years I've always seen less and less

From here:

1. Cast Away
2. Unbreakable
3. Emperor's New Groove
4. American Psycho
5. Gladiator

The first 4 are all really good. I wanna see most of those again sometime. I thought Gladiator was overrated as hell though. Really the only outstanding part about it was Phoenix's performance, other than that it was meh

Cast Away - Great. For some reason after watching Season 1 of Survivor and being hooked, I was extremely excited about this movie.

Grinch - Whatever.

Meet the Parents - This is one of my favorite movies. It introduced me to DeNiro too.

Scary Movie - I never saw Scream so I didn't really get the references but it was ok for what it was. These movies are all pretty terrible though.

Emperor's New Groove - I don't remember a single thing about this except that one scene with the back-to-back wall climb. I tried doing that with a friend up a pair of trees once. It didn't work.

Unbreakable and Cast Away are my favorites here. Unbreakable is probably a top 10 movie for me. Tom Hanks is my hero and I saw Cast Away the day I skipped school to get the cast on my arm removed. Get it?? Requiem is trippy and well acted and made

X-Men was good. Meet the Parents is hysterical. One of my favorite comedies. Scary Movie is also pretty hilarious. Grinch was meh

Gladiator and The Perfect Storm were fine at the time. I haven't seen either in a long time and forget most of them. Emperor's I also saw long ago and have no interest in rewatching

Final Destination movies are a guilty pleasure of mine. The first is pretty good though tbh. Mission Impossible II had some cool moments..not much else

Never seen but want to:
Traffic
American Psycho
The Patriot

Never seen but not a ton of interest:
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Almost Famous
Erin Brockovich
Gone in Sixty Seconds
The Beach

I think I've seen Castaway all the way through, but I think it was a long time ago so I don't remember much about it.

X-Men - love this series and can't wait for the new one!!

Grinch - The cartoon is better than the real life one I think, but I wouldn't care to see either again really.

O' Brother - Good movie, but I haven't seen it in a while. I don't care much to see it again either.

Meet the Parents - I think these movies got progressively worse. It was a fun idea and I enjoyed it. Not much of a Ben Stiller fan though.

Oh and I've seen New Groove! It's a great movie!
