Since the Oscars are tonight, I figured we could do a fun little FE themed creative game thing! I was browsing the past threads in the general board and realized there are many strange thread names. That, coupled with the fact that I'm currently watching the Oscar red carpet, I thought...why not mix both? Basically, go through the general discussion board and find the oddest thread titles and write an Oscar-winning synopsis if that title was the name of the movie. For example:
So The Nukes Are Flying
Written By: Paulus
Directed By: Kathryn Bigelow
Starring: George Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow, Matt Damon, Lupita Nyong'o, Zac Efron, Anna Kendrick
On the brink of World War III, the threat of nuclear warfare affects the lives of many across America and the world. Colonel Rodgers (Clooney) struggles when his wife (Paltrow) decides to enlist in order to serve her country. A special operative (Damon) is tasked in escorting a Nigerian diplomat (Nyong'o) to safety after her country is invaded and destroyed. College freshman Eric Johnson (Efron) fears the frontier, and things get more complicated when his high school flame (Kendrick) arrives to let him know that he has an infant son. In a story of love, longing and loss, will war separate love and friendships both old and new?

Am I a pretentious asshole
Written By: Wikey
Directed By: Matthew Weiner
Starring: Vincent Kartheiser, Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss
A pretentious asshole (Vincent Kartheiser) begins to question how much of a pretentious asshole he really is, pushing the relationship with his wife (Elisabeth Moss) and boss (Jon Hamm) to the limit. Serious drama with lots of drinking and other stuff. | |
