Welcome to the North Pole.

In the year 2067, the face of the world is radically changed. The rise of industrialization in the poles contributed to the increase in green house gas emissions. As a result, the global temperature is at an all time high and snow is a simple memory. Corporations rose and fell, but one simple ideology held true throughout the years; Christmas spirit. Nicholas Claus was once a jolly entity who found solace in the joy of giving to children around the world, but he was soon yet another victim of corporate corruption. With the help of his many followers and globalized "Workshop, Inc.", Nicholas climbed the political ladder and became a major world power. As soon as he tasted the sweetness of control, the now corrupt Santa Claus created an invasive and oppressive political tyranny that stretched through the entire world. Bankrupting small villages from Whoville to South Town, Nicholas held a monopoly over the production of two major resources; toys and coal. With his charming demeanor and seemingly endless wave of allies, hope for a better future was distinguished in the hearts of most citizens.

However, in the capital city of the North Pole, talks of a revolution are spreading throughout the ruined city. One man, known simply as Grinch, has devised a plan to overthrow the tyrannical government and bring hope back to Christmas day. The odds of success in this political wasteland as low, as an uprising in a city is difficult when you're never quite sure who you can trust. Will President Claus and his followers put distinguish the rebellion once and for all? Will Grinch successfully unite the masses to take down the oppressive government? Only time will tell. One thing, however, is for certain; this cast of characters will have themselves a scary little Christmas

A Christmas Peril is a new mafia game with an extensive plot and an interesting cast of original and familiar characters. This game is set to start on December 26th, or as soon as Sam's Doctor Who mafia ends. I'm posting sign ups a little early just to gauge interest.
