"So...who wants to go in first?" Curtis said with a grin on his face.

After hearing Boc's screams, everyone was hesitant.

"Fine whatever. I'll go first." began Perry. "It's every man for himself. I'm gonna get in there and find some candy."

Perry stood at the base of the steps leading up to the mansion. He slowly moved up the wooden steps, which creaked beneath his feet. Rotten jack-o-lanterns lined the steps. Perry peered down into one to find maggots and worms crawling within. He looked away and continued towards the door.

There was no handle. Just a large, gargoyle door knocker. Perry looked over his shoulder at the group, who nodded in approval. After a gulp, he reached his hand slowly out towards the knocker.

"OH MEN BOO!" a voice yelled.

"AHH!!!!" Perry screamed. The shock sent him falling backwards down the wooden steps.

"Good." said KC.

It was Jeffrey, the creepy groundskeeper.



"Jeffrey you fool! What are you doing up here?" Curtis asked. "You're supposed to be opening up the gate for everyone who's eliminated. I gave you specific instructions."

"Oh men." Jeff said as he played with his lantern.

"Did you at least manage to let Boc out?"

Jeff looked at his feet. "Ohh men..." he said, shaking his head.

"I guess that's a no. Great. So Boc's wandering around the grounds somewhere." Curtis said, disappointed. "I'm sure he'll meet up with us soon."

Natalie offered Perry a hand, but he helped himself up and stuffed his hay back into his costume.

"Alright Jeff, hand me the key so we can go inside." Curtis said.

Jeff looked on in confusion.

"Jeff...the skeleton key. The one I gave you. Tell me you still have it."

"............oh...............................................men." Jeff murmured.

Curtis sighed.

"Well, looks like we've gotta find our own way in."
