Ones that I've seen I voted for:
Dark Knight Rises - DUH. I get a massive boner any time Christopher Nolan's batman comes on the screen. Wasn't anywhere near as good as the second but was still a really solid move.
Django Unchained - This movie was fucking bad ass. I hadn't seen a lot of Tarantino movies before this one so I wasn't sure but I loved it. Maybe a little long but it was solid nonetheless.
Life of Pi - Really liked this one. Amazing visuals and the ending was kind of head scratching.
Argo - Stellar for a somewhat historically accurate movie where you know whats going to happen in the end. Ben affleck was really good in it which gives me hope for him as Batman.
The Hunger Games - cool concept. I would of liked more focus on other characters because besides that little black girl I didn't really care about any of them dying at all. Also Peeta is overrated, the guy back home was SO much more attractive.
Avengers - Not a huge fan of the Avengers. Didn't really grow up reading comic books which is probably why I don't like the idea of them teaming up and prefer the more realistic version like Nolan series. I also have a couple of diehard Avenger fans and its funny to see them get pissed when I tell them there favorite movie ever sucks.

I really really liked Life of Pi. It has a really interesting message and take on religion, the visuals are fantastic, and it's an all around really good film. Silver Linings is one of my favorite movies ever so it couldn't top that one, but you should definitely watch it Curtis.

You should check out Battle Royale. Very similar concept but it does a waaay better job with it IMO.

It really surprised me. I went in not expecting much but it really blew me away. It starts off pretty slow but the last half is very moving, especially the ending. And the visuals are great.
