ok ep, not much to say about it
does feel like this season has come to a screeching halt pacing-wise after the Rook's Rest ep. Which would be fine if it this was another 10 ep season but...we're running outta TIME!
Smallfolk unrest is always welcome since it was something that was sorely lacking from late stage GOT (especially considering Cersei blew up a fucking sept and apparently no one batted an eye), though I do think the riots in early GOT had much better direction than this one. I didn't really feel the THREAT as much here
I'm very ready for the drunk Targaryen to find his dragon, I assume that's why he was introduced. Also if Aemond's hooker is on the white worm's payroll I don't get why she couldn't just tell her to slit his throat the next time he lays on her lap?

apparently some people are very upset about the Rhaenyra/WW kiss which astounds me considering all the sexual tension between her and Alicent early on?? Maybe it wasn't in the books but it felt right in line for show Rhaenyra lol

I've read some of World of Ice & Fire which is even more high-level and vague than Fire & Blood (cuz it covers pretty much all of Westeros history, not just the dance of the dragons). I've just been reading through the Dance sections as the show covers them to prevent spoilers
I feel like this next inevitable two year hiatus will get me to read through the rest though

I watched this episode like 3 minutes at a time over the last 2 weeks
It somehow has taken me quite awhile to realize that the smallfolk guy we've seen in the taverns is different from the smallfolk guy with the sick daughter lol
Felt bad for that knight who tried to claim the dragon and died. I liked him

Saw a few articles about how Seasmoke claiming another rider means his original rider (Laenor) had to have died off screen. Pretty lame if true. Adult Laenor was one of my favorites of S1 actually, this rider-recruitment would've been a cool way to add him back into the fold

Laenor was killed in Driftmark in the books, so the whole fakeout and him escaping was a complete show invention. So it seems they kinda just forgot about the murkiness that would add to the Seasmoke situation (:
