Dame Sami Sue Johnson, OBE was tidying up her hotel suite. Despite being a highly influential and admired member of the British aristocracy, she wasn't above picking up after herself. She liked things neat, tidy and orderly! After finishing her notes for the day she carefully placed the cap on her pen and slid it into its holder. She then closed the cover on her fine leather portfolio and straightened it so it was "just so" on the desk. She smiled to herself, got up from her chair, and moved gracefully to the bedroom.

She was in freshly pressed linen pajamas, light pink. The pressing was courtesy of the hotel. Her initials: SSJ, OBE were finely embroidered on the pocket in a flourish. She removed her jewelry and placed the rings, watch and bracelet carefully into the jeweled case on her bedside table, then reached for her hand cream.

As she massaged the hand cream into the thin, crepey skin covering her small, finely boned hands, she thought about how the day had turned out. She had had suspicions of Karen but it turned out she was not a killer! Well, she had her new ideas now. She had penned them in her notes and would share them with the group tomorrow, first thing! She smiled to herself at the thought of solving yet another case.

Sami took off her glasses and placed them on the nightstand beside the bed. Then she slid her tiny feet out of her slippers and slid into the bed. She turned off the bedside lamp and adjusted the covers, folding them down just under her chin, the way she liked them.

It was around 3am when Dame Sami woke with a start! She wasn't sure what had woken her. She lay still in the bed as her eyes adjusted to the the dark room. Only a small amount of light seeped in around the thick heavy hotel curtains so she couldn't see much. She reached for her glasses but then froze. Someone had grabbed her hand!

She reached out with her other hand but that was grabbed quickly, as well. She felt a weight come down on her as someone sat on her! She tried to fight but it was no use. Her 95 lb frame was no match for her assailant. She was trapped!

She screamed out but her scream was quickly cut off by a pillow being pushed down over her face. She struggled under the bed covers, trapped by her killer, unable to breathe. She struggled and struggled and struggled... and finally slipped into an eternal sleep.

Somewhere down the hall another person stirred. They couldn't sleep... had been up for a while, pacing back and forth in their small room.

They thought and thought. And grunted and growled. And snarled.

This room was so tiny. It was stifling!

John Snav pulled his rugged fur around his sturdy shoulders and stepped out of the room. He looked up and down the hall. It was empty. He grunted approval.

He started walking, up and down the hall. This was much better than that stuffy box they called a room in this place. Much more space in the hall... to pace.

He quickly tired of the pacing. He needed even more room! He felt like a caged animal in this hotel. He could go for a walk outside! He looked down the hall toward the elevators. He growled. grrrr. He didn't trust them. Where he came from there were no elevators. Just solid, man-made steps. Preferably made by his own rough, strong, hard-working hands. He glanced at the door leading to the stairs. Much better. He nodded to himself and grunted.

He opened the door to the stairwell and started toward the stairs.

He took the stairs two at a time as he descended. It felt good to move and it lifted his mood. He almost smiled to himself. But didn't.

He moved so quickly he failed to see a dark shadow in the corner of the landing, just out of the direct light, until it was too late. He saw the movement in his peripheral vision just as they side-swiped him and put him in a choke hold.

John Snav was strong but the other person had the element of surprise on their side. He never saw them as they began to choke the life out of him.

He thought of Alaska as he drifted into unconsciousness and let out his last grrr...

Iffff Farlig’s bad, TiB and Jamie votes on Rose look not so hot

This is just assuming Boc has something on Farlig. Though even if he doesn’t the train against Rose built in a bit of a weird way, especially when the Farlig vote was maaaaybe based on info?

With nav being jailkeeper and two kills last night there is literally 0% chance boc can have a role to have anything on me. But yes things look bad for me.

I’ll wait until boc claims whatever information he thinks he has.
