It was a good year for the Nakatomi Corporation, so to celebrate, we are hosting a large holiday party for all the employees. To kick off this party in style, everyone will receive a mystery gift. The only thing that sets your gift apart from all the others is a large number written in marker on the side of the box. Now, if you choose to keep and open your gift you can, otherwise you can take your luck and swap with another player. At the end of the phase, all gifts will be opened and your prize will be revealed.

In the style of a mystery White Elephant or Yankee Swap game, each player will have a chance to either open their gift (## Open Gift #X) or swap their gift one time with someone else who hasn't already opened their gift (## Swap Gift #X with #Y). If you choose to swap, you can only swap once, then you are locked into that gift. If someone steals your original gift, you can choose to either open the one they gave you, or swap with one of the other remaining gifts. The gifts will not be revealed until all have been locked in, or we've reached the 24 hour time limit (~7 pm ET on Tuesday).

I considered having people go in order, like the traditional game does, but wasn't sure everyone would be active enough to get though all 16 players in a 24-hour period. | | |
