they could not leave Texas out and put Bama in when Texas won head to head. but yeah its nuts that Florida State was left out

Well no surprise there. Bama gets special treatment once again. They had to have a miracle play to beat a 6-6 Auburn team that was blown out by New Mexico St at home the week before.
