I accidentally started up 1x01 and it took me like a full minute in before I realized they weren't doing a flashback and this was in fact the wrong ep. I kinda wish I had kept watching that instead!

but eh I didn't HATE this, buuut I also have no idea what tf is going on! Seriously can you tip your hand a LITTLE bit more so I can actually have some investment in one of these plots!

Dolores not being in Terminator mode and getting the soft reboot similar to where she was in the beginning (as far as being in the dark and figuring out her place in the world) was v refreshing. I actually remembered why I liked Wood in that role so much, which is nice

On the other hand...! The writing is doing him no favors, but man is Aaron Paul rough in this role. Such a boring, generic character that they probably should've just dumped after S3, it would've been pretty easy to slot in a different every man character and try again

Highlight of the ep was the Video Games cover by Djawadi. OOO BOY! Obviously on the nose but I love that song and its usage here was great
