I just heard about it. I've never seen any movies he was in, but based purely on the Sopranos, he was a terrific actor. He emanated humanity and warmth even when his character was a monstrous sociopath.
And I also hear he was a good man. This is all really shitty, especially for such a young guy | | |

Such a shame. I'm the opposite of Hupu. I've seen a lot of his movies but I never sat down to watch the Sopranos yet. Lost a brilliant actor today. | | |

I love mafia/mobster movies so Sopranos is right up my alley, but I never really watched it aside from the last season. I dunno why. I always meant to watch it from the beginning but I never got around to it. Think I'm gonna hop on that now.
Shit sucks though. Gandolfini put so much life into that character. 'Tis a shame he was destined to be forever typecasted afterwards cause he was an amazing actor. |

That show really put HBO on the radar and thanks to Sopranos, HBO makes great TV now.
