Premise
A woman escapes from a suffocating 10-year marriage to a tech billionaire, but discovers her husband had her fitted with a high tech tracking device. The monitoring device, which he implanted in her brain, allows him to track her location, watch her live, and know her "emotional data" as she tries to regain her independence.
watched the first 3 eps. Nothing REMARKABLE so far but p fun, especially the last ep. Always like Milioti and Magnussen whenever they pop up in things

def curious where this is all GOING since there doesn't seem to be a clear OBJECTIVE atm? Like at first it was just about her escape but then the bf catches up to her anyways and she turns him down, sooo...? Guessing the rest of the season will be about his further attempts to woo her back?

Agreed, can’t say I’m hooked or wowed but it should be a fun single season show, I like it enough. Third ep was my favorite one. Though the “I THOUGHT THOSE WERE METAPHORS!” scream in the trailer was way way better than the one they used. A shame!
not really sure it's DOING it for me, there's really not a lot of narrative momentum. But I'm curious enough where this'll go that I'll prob stick it out
Agreed (through 6). Tone is a lil all over the place and the stakes have remained kinda awkward from the get go, it’s weird. I’ll watch the last two to see how it ends for sure tho
what an odd little show. I honestly don't remember the last time I've been so unsure of WHY a story had even been told at the end. But yet I was at least reasonably entertained throughout so it's not like it was a TOTAL wash
After all that, she decides to move back in with her incredibly emotionally abusive boyfriend to save her dad's life, I guess (while effectively kidnapping him!)? It never really bothers to explain WHY she makes this decision and I don't think the show itself has a good reason. MAYBE if there's a S2 there'd be more of an explanation but that's not really a good excuse, they should at least give you the pieces to draw your own conclusions. The character motivations were just incredibly obtuse
Yeah lol, it was overally really weird. I guess Im glad the focus shifted somewhat to her relationship with her dad because Romano was maybe my favorite part of the show and their scenes together towards the end were p good. I guess they're hoping for a s2, you can tell they were kinda banking on it. Doesn't feel like a multi season show to me really
Interesting show in there somewhere for sure, they just couldn't quite find it. Overall it was a fine and easy watch
